Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de production de monoxyde de carbone à partir d'un dérivé de l'acide formique, en particulier d'un formiate d'alkyle. Elle concerne également un procédé choisi parmi, le procédé de production de méthanol, le procédé de production d'acide acétique (procédés Monsanto et Cativa), le procédé d'hydroformylation d'oléfines (procédé oxo et aldox, le procédé de production d'hydrocarbures (procédé Fischer-Tropsch), ou le procédé de carbonylation du nickel (procédé Mond), comprenant une étape de production de monoxyde de carbone à partir d'un formiate d'alkyle de formule (I) par le procédé selon l'invention. Elle concerne, en outre, un procédé de « pompe à CO » ou « stockage liquide de CO » comprenant une étape de production de monoxyde de carbone à partir d'un formiate d'alkyle de formule (I) selon le procédé de l'invention.
