Abstract

Ventilateur, ou appareil, portable (10) d’administration d’un mélange d’oxygène, d’argon et éventuellement d’autres gaz à des patients victimes d’une ischémie consécutive à un arrêt cardiaque, comprenant : - au moins une bouteille (12) contenant le mélange d’oxygène, d’argon ainsi que d’autres gaz possibles ; - une valve (13), associée à la bouteille (12), apte à fonctionner comme un premier réducteur de pression du mélange de gaz qui sort directement de la bouteille (12) ; - une unité de commande (14), constituée d’un PLC, dans laquelle sont mémorisés des programmes et des algorithmes qui commandent le fonctionnement de l’appareil (10) ; et - un second réducteur de pression et un système de régulation (16), tous les deux commandés par le PLC, du mélange de gaz distribué par la bouteille (12) et provenant du premier réducteur de pression (13) ; dans lequel l’appareil (10) est apte à délivrer au patient le mélange de gaz à la pression réduite fournie par le second réducteur de pression et par le système de régulation (16) par le biais d’un masque (17) qui peut être logé dans un compartiment (18) de l’appareil ; et dans lequel l’appareil (10) est configuré pour fonctionner dans trois modes, ou options, de fonctionnement différents en fonction du type d’utilisateur, respectivement un mode facile, un mode intermédiaire et un mode avancé pour administrer le mélange de gaz au patient devant faire l’objet d’une réanimation. Figure à publier avec l’abrégé : Figure1Portable ventilator or device (10) for administering a mixture of oxygen, argon and possibly other gases to patients suffering from ischemia following cardiac arrest, comprising: - at least one bottle (12) containing the mixture of oxygen, argon and other possible gases; - a valve (13), associated with the bottle (12), capable of operating as a first pressure reducer of the gas mixture which comes directly from the bottle (12); - a control unit (14), consisting of a PLC, in which programs and algorithms are stored which control the operation of the device (10); and - a second pressure reducer and a regulation system (16), both controlled by the PLC, of the gas mixture distributed by the bottle (12) and coming from the first pressure reducer (13); wherein the apparatus (10) is adapted to deliver to the patient the gas mixture at the reduced pressure supplied by the second pressure reducer and by the regulation system (16) by means of a mask (17) which can be housed in a compartment (18) of the device; and wherein the apparatus (10) is configured to operate in three different modes, or options, of operation depending on the type of user, respectively an easy mode, an intermediate mode and an advanced mode for administering the gas mixture to the patient to be resuscitated.
