Abstract

Ce système (40) comprend un module (120) de commande configuré pour générer une commande d'une trajectoire latérale de consigne, un module de limitation (58) configuré pour déterminer, en fonction d'une vitesse et d'un angle de dérapage maximal autorisé de la roulette (5) de l'aéronef, une plage d'angle de braquage de la roulette (5) telle que, l'angle de braquage de la roulette (5) étant dans cette plage, l'angle de dérapage de la roulette (5) est inférieur audit angle de dérapage maximal, et un module de contrôle (130) configuré pour déterminer, en fonction de la commande, un angle de braquage de consigne compris dans ladite plage et propre à engendrer un mouvement latéral de l'aéronef conforme à ou tendant vers la trajectoire de consigne, et pour transmettre une instruction de braquage à la roulette (5) afin de l'orienter selon l'angle de consigne.
