Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé d'assistance (1) à la conduite d'un véhicule automobile (20) comprenant : -une étape de détection (11) d'un événement routier à venir ; et si ledit événement routier à venir nécessite une réduction de la vitesse du véhicule automobile (20), le procédé d'assistance (1) comprend les étapes suivantes : - une étape de calcul (17) d'une distance optimale d'information de ralentissement, fonction de ladite valeur de distance de décélération naturelle ; - une étape d'activation (18) d'un dispositif d'information incitant le conducteur à relâcher l'accélérateur du véhicule automobile (20) pour réduire la vitesse du véhicule automobile (20).
