Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif 10 servant à mesurer l'espacement entre des surfaces opposées de pièces adjacentes 16, 18, le dispositif comportant un corps principal 20 avec une première lame 32 fixe par rapport au corps principal et une seconde lame 44 mobile par rapport au corps principal. Les lames sont sollicitées dans une première direction de façon à les éloigner l'une de l'autre afin d'amener des surfaces de référence des lames en contact avec des surfaces respectives parmi les surfaces opposées. Un système de commande électronique obtient une mesure représentant une distance entre les surfaces de référence qui est affichée sur un écran 22. Les lames 32, 44 sont décalées l'une vis-à-vis de l'autre dans une direction perpendiculaire à ladite première direction et la seconde lame 44 peut être déplacée à l'encontre de la force de sollicitation jusqu'à une position d'insertion dans laquelle les lames 32, 44 sont essentiellement coplanaires l'une vis-à-vis de l'autre. La force de sollicitation peut amener automatiquement les surfaces de référence en alignement avec les surfaces opposées. De manière avantageuse, les surfaces de référence sont mises en prise avec les surfaces opposées avec une force suffisante pour supporter la totalité du poids du dispositif.
