Abstract

The present invention relates to a removable furniture. The invention also relates to a kit for mounting such a piece of furniture and a method of mounting such a piece of furniture.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

It is now known to deliver a kit table that a user only has to assemble at home, with one side the carrier structure possibly several separate elements and the other the panel intended to form the flat surface of the table.

However, assembly is usually difficult and tedious and usually requires the intervention of two people. In particular, the mounting of the carrier structure proves to be a complex step because it is not always easy to secure the various elements of the carrier structure between them.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

GENERAL DEFINITION OF THE INVENTION

In order to achieve this goal, a removable piece of furniture is proposed comprising a supporting structure and at least one panel attached to the supporting structure, the supporting structure comprising: two opposite side frames; at least one transversely extending lower arm; between the two frames to secure them to one another, - at least one upper arm extending transversely between the two frames to secure them to one another, the lower arm and the two frames, and / or the upper arm and the two frames, being provided with their mutual interlocking means.

Thus, a user has only to secure the two frames together by simply interlocking arms to frames to mount the carrier structure. All that remains is to hang the panel to the supporting structure. The invention therefore allows a simplified assembly of the furniture. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF A PARTICULAR EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

With reference to the various figures, the piece of furniture according to the particular embodiment of the invention is a table bearing the general reference 1.

The table 1 comprises a supporting structure 2 and here a single panel 3 attached and secured to the supporting structure 2.

The panel 3 is typically shaped as a rectangular parallelepiped. The panel 3 has a small thickness. In addition, the panel 3 is made of synthetic material.

Preferably, the panel 3 is customizable. The upper face 4 of the panel 3 is thus printed in whole or in part according to the request of a user.

The carrying structure 2 comprises a first lateral frame 5 and a second lateral frame 6 opposite to the first lateral frame 5. The two frames 5, 6 are here identical.

Each frame 5, 6 is here shaped as a rectangular ring. Each frame 5, 6 thus has two legs 7, 8, 9, 10, a lower bar 11, 12 extending between the two feet 7, 8, respectively 9, 10 and an upper bar 13, 14, opposite the bar lower 11, respectively 12, extending symmetrically between the two feet 7, 8, respectively 9, 10. The supporting structure 2 furthermore comprises a lower arm 15 extending transversely, parallel to a third axis Z orthogonal to the first axis X and the second axis Y, between the two frames 5, 6 to secure them to each other . The lower arm 15 thus extends orthogonally to the four bars 11, 12, 13, 14 and also to the four legs 7, 8, 9, 10. The third axis Z is typically horizontal.

The lower arm 15 is here arranged to extend more precisely between the two lower bars 11, 12 and to be connected at a first end to the center of one of the lower bars 11 and to be connected to a second end in the center of the other of the lower bars 12.

Preferably, the lower arm 15 has the same height as the lower bars 11, 12 (height taken along the first axis X). Thus, the lower arm 15 extends at the same level as said lower bars 11, 12.

The carrier structure 2 furthermore comprises a first upper arm 16 extending transversely, parallel to the third axis Z, between the two frames 5, 6 for securing them to one another and a second upper arm 17 extending transversely. , parallel to the third axis Z, between the two frames 5, 6 to secure them to one another.

In this way, the panel 3 rests on the support platform (that is to say on the upper bars 13, 14 but also on the upper arms 16, 17) either directly or by means of protective pads panel 3 and the supporting structure 2 which are then interposed between the panel 3 and the support platform. The panel 3 is here anchored to the support platform at the two upper arms 13, 14. Preferably, the panel 3 is anchored to the support platform by screwing.

Typically, each upper arm 13, 14 has two orifices 18 passing through the arm concerned, the orifices 18 extending parallel to the first axis X, the orifices 18 are preferably formed outside the central zone of the arm concerned. Preferably, the orifices 18 of each upper arm are arranged symmetrically on the same upper arm and identically between the two upper arms 13, 14. This ensures a good fixing of the panel 3 to the supporting structure 2.

The panel 3 comprises corresponding orifices (not visible here) vis-à-vis when the panel 3 is placed on the support platform.

The table 1 furthermore comprises four screw-nut assemblies respectively extending in one of the orifices 18 of the upper arms 13, 14 and of the corresponding orifice of the panel 3, in order to anchor the panel 3 to the supporting structure 2.

The different arms 15, 16, 17 are also connected to the frames 5, 6 by interlocking. The arms 15, 16, 17 and the two frames 5, 6 are thus provided with their mutual interlocking means which are arranged here at each end of each of the arms 15, 16, 17 and the portion of the frame facing each other. .

Mutual interlocking means of one of the ends 19 of the second upper arm 17 and of the corresponding frame portion will now be described with reference to FIGS. 3 to 5. The various interlocking means of the different arms 15, 16, 17 to the frames 5, 6 being all identical, the following description also applies to the other five interlocking means.

The upper bar 14 of the frame 6 concerned thus comprises a housing 20 for receiving the end 19.

This housing 20 is of course arranged in the upper bar 14 so that once the end 19 received in said housing 20, the upper arm 17 extends at the same level as the upper bar 14.

The housing 20 is typically formed in the upper face 21 of the upper bar 14 (of normal the first axis X) and in the inner face 22 of the upper bar 14 (normal the third axis Z) is the face opposite the Other frame 5. The tongue 25 extends here parallel to the inner face 22, and in the same plane as said inner face 22, to the level of the upper face 21.

Said tongue 25 is centered relative to the housing 20. Thus, the tongue 25 and the inner face 22 together define two rectilinear grooves 26, 27 extending parallel to the first axis X on either side of the tongue 25.

Correspondingly, the end 19 has two grooves 28, 2 9 formed on each of these side faces 30, 31 for the respective insertion of one of the grooves 28, 29 of the end in one of the grooves 27 , 26 of the upper bar 14.

This not only makes it possible to guide the engagement of the upper arm 17 in the upper bar 14 but also to ensure a locking in translation of the end 19 along the second axis Y and the third axis Z.

Preferably, in order to further improve the interlocking, the tongue 25 has a lip 32 at its free upper end.

Said lip 32 extends parallel to the upper face 21, and in the same plane as the upper face 21, without however covering the entire upper portion of the housing 20. The lip 32 thus forms a fold of the tongue 25.

Correspondingly, the end 19 has an upper lumen 33 formed in its longitudinal upper face 34 and a lower lumen 35 formed in its lower longitudinal face 36 opposite the first lumen 33. The lip 32 and the upper lumen 33 present by in addition, substantially the same dimensions.

In this way, when the end 19 engages in the housing 20, the lip 32 passes through the lower light 35 and the upper light 33 of the end 19 to allow nesting. The lip 32 and the upper lumen 33 are thus shaped so that in position, the lip 32 extends in the upper lumen 33 and at the same level as said upper lumen 33.

This allows not only to guide the interlocking of the upper arm 17 in the upper bar 14 but also to provide translation locking of the end 19 along the second axis Y and the third axis Z.

There is thus a very good interlocking of the upper arm 17 in the frame 6 considered, the housing 20, the tongue 25, the grooves 26, 27 and the lip 32 on the one hand and the grooves 28, 29 and lights 33, 35 on the other hand forming here the means of interlocking the end 19 of the upper arm 19 to the upper bar 14.

It is noted that this is indeed interlocking and not snapping, the tongue 25 and in particular its lip 32 does not come to cover the end 19.

This facilitates disassembly of the table.

According to a preferred embodiment, in order to be able to move the table 1 more easily, the table 1 comprises means for fixing the arms 15, 16, 17 to the frames 5, 6, attachment means here associated with the interlocking means. For this purpose, the table 1 comprises means for screwing the arms 15, 16, 17 to the frames 5, 6. These means being all identical, the following description for the end 19 and the frame portion 6 illustrated in FIGS. to 5 also applies to the other five interlocking means.

Typically, the end 19 comprises an orifice 37 passing through its longitudinal upper face 34, the orifice 37 extending parallel to the first axis X. The orifice 37 is here arranged between the end of the upper arm 17 and the upper lumen 33. In particular, the lower lumen 35 is larger in size than the upper lumen 33, thereby allowing a screw, extending through the aperture 37, to pass therethrough as well.

Correspondingly, the lower face 24 of the upper bar 14 has a corresponding orifice (not visible here) vis-à-vis that of the end 19 when it is fitted in the upper bar 14.

The table 1 further comprises a screw-nut assembly extending in the orifice 37 and the lower light 35 and the corresponding orifice of the upper bar 14, to anchor the upper arm 17 in the frame 6.

The assembly of the table 1 which has just been described will now be detailed. The user begins by mounting the carrier structure 2. For this purpose, the user first of all secures the two upper arms 16, 17 to the frames 5, 6. Note that by their conformation, the frames 5, 6 stand up only which facilitate this stage of assembly. For this purpose, the user fits each of the ends of the two upper arms 16, 17 in the corresponding portions of frames 5, 6 and then screwed the four sets screw nuts corresponding.

Starting with the mounting of the upper arms 16, 17 facilitates the continuation of the assembly by allowing from the beginning the construction of a relatively solid portion of the supporting structure 2. The user then secures the lower arm 15 to the frames 5, 6. A this effect, the user fits each end of the lower arm 15 in the corresponding portions of frames 5, 6 and then screwed the two sets screw nuts corresponding.

The table 1 can also advantageously be delivered in kit form which facilitates its storage and handling. The invention is not limited to the particular embodiment that has just been described, but on the contrary covers any variant embodiment within the scope of the invention.

In particular, the furniture may be composed of a different number of elements such as for example comprise only one upper arm or comprise a central frame arranged between two end side frames.
