Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de détection de la présence d'une cible (T), comprenant un générateur, une paire (202) de capteurs (202M, 202S), et une unité de traitement (210) adaptée à : a) recevoir et échantillonner des signaux ultrasonores ; b) obtenir, par transformée de Hilbert, des premier et deuxième signaux complexes ; c) filtrer par filtrage adapté chacun des signaux complexes ; d) associer à chaque échantillon du premier signal complexe filtré l'échantillon du deuxième signal complexe filtré présentant la meilleure corrélation, d'où il résulte un couple d'échantillons pour chaque instant de réception ; e) sélectionner des couples successifs d'échantillons dans un intervalle autour de chaque instant de réception ; f) calculer une valeur de corrélation statistique entre les couples sélectionnés à l'étape e) ; et g) détecter la présence de la cible lorsque l'une des valeurs de corrélation s'écarte significativement des autres valeurs de corrélation.
