Abstract

The present invention relates to an antitheft device (100) designed to allow the immobilization of at least one cycle (Cy) on the ground or on a surface, comprising a bracket (Pt) carrying a transverse bar (Bf) . According to the invention, said fixing arm is provided with: at least one blocking means (Mbt) of the seat post (Ts) of said cycle, said blocking means comprising a housing (Lg) open for receiving said stem; saddle (Ts) by advancement of the cycle, a lock (Vr) movable between a release position of said opening and a closed position of said opening, at least one locking means (Mbs) designed to lock the seat (Sl ) in place when the seat post (Ts) has been positioned in said housing. The antitheft device for cycle (s) immobilizes the cycle (s) while maintaining it (s) applied to the ground. It also prevents disassembly of the saddle or saddles. The anti-theft device for cycle (s) is of a very simple use. The stem makes it possible to secure the antitheft device on the ground or on a surface.

The present invention relates to an anti-theft device designed to immobilize a cycle, such as a bicycle or an electric bicycle.

Many devices exist to reduce the risk of theft of a bicycle. Anti-theft devices in the form of a U are known, comprising a U-shaped handle and the two ends of which can be locked in a bar fitted with a mechanism for locking the two ends of the handle. We put the handle around the frame and a bicycle wheel and we lock the bar on the handle. Street furniture can still be used to anchor the handle of this type of lock to immobilize the bike. Although resistant, this type of U-lock cannot prevent theft of bicycle accessories, especially its other wheel, unless you use a second lock, its saddle.

Also known from reading FR-A1-2 666 775, a device for fixing a cycle provided with a saddle on a support fitted to a motor vehicle.

The cycle is positioned in abutment on the support by its wheels and in a generally vertical position.

The device for fixing a cycle consists essentially of a post, a bracket and a cycle blocking element on the support. The blocking element is fixed on the stem. It has a general shape of an inverted U adapted to enclose the saddle of the cycle and retain it by a tightening action substantially directed from top to bottom.

This device cannot prevent the wheels and saddle from being removed from the bicycle.

Knowing this state of the art, the applicant sought a solution to make more effective an anti-theft device for a cycle.

To this end, there is an anti-theft device designed to allow immobilization of at least one cycle on the ground or on a surface, comprising a bracket carrying transversely a fixing bar; according to the invention, said fixing arm is provided with:

at least one means for blocking the seat post of said cycle, said blocking means comprising an open housing for receiving said seat post by advancing the cycle, a movable latch between a position for releasing said opening and a position for closing of said opening, of at least one locking means designed to lock the corresponding saddle in place when the seatpost has been positioned in said housing.

The anti-theft device for cycle (s) immobilizes the cycle (s) by keeping it applied on the ground. It also prevents disassembly of the saddle or saddles.

The anti-theft device for cycle (s) is very simple to use.

The bracket makes it possible to secure the anti-theft device on the ground or on a surface.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the means for blocking the saddle consists of a loop in which the saddle can be inserted and held in place.

The saddle is locked by simply advancing the cycle.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the means for blocking the seat post as well as the means for blocking the saddle are fixed to one end or to both ends of the fixing bar.

The anti-theft device can immobilize one or two cycles.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the anti-theft device comprises a means for blocking the front wheel of said cycle, comprising at least one hoop and in which the front wheel of said cycle can take place when it is immobilized in said device.

Disassembly of the front wheel then becomes impossible.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the anti-theft device comprises a storage box intended to contain accessories related to the practice of cycling, said box being provided with a closing cover intended to close the opening of said box, a cover locking lock in its closed position.

The storage chest allows you to hold accessories related to cycling.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the storage chest is mounted in at least one frame fixed to the bracket and said or each hoop is fixed laterally on said frame.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the anti-theft device is provided with a means for blocking the lock or the two locks, when they are positioned in their closed position, the blocking means comprising a latch.

By actuating the blocking means, the one or both latches can be released or blocked.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the blocking means is connected, for example, by means of a cable sliding in a sheath, to the lock of the cover of the storage chest to unlock it allowing access to the content of said chest.

By actuating the locking means, the trunk can be opened.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the actuation of the latch is implemented by means of a control member such as a mechanical or electronic coding key box.

The user must enter the correct code to release the anti-theft device.

In an alternative embodiment, the actuation of the latch is implemented by means of an electronic payment terminal.

The user must pay for the cycle rental service to release the anti-theft device.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the fixing bar is offset from the upper part of the bracket by means of at least one section, said section being formed of two telescopic tubes, one of which is fixed on the upper end of the stem and the other of which is fixed to the fixing bar.

The anti-theft device can accommodate cycles of different lengths.

According to an additional characteristic of the invention, the bracket comprises a foot formed by two telescopic tubes allowing the height adjustment of the fixing bar.

The anti-theft device can accommodate cycles of different heights.

The anti-theft device 100 presented in FIG. 1 is intended to allow the immobilization of at least one cycle Cy, such as a bicycle or an electric bicycle, to prevent it from being stolen. It can be used to immobilize said cycle on the ground or on the floor of a vehicle.

The anti-theft device 100 comprises a clamp Pt clamping fixed to a base Sc intended to be anchored on the ground or on a surface, a blocking means Mb of the front wheel Ra of said cycle.

The bracket Pt comprises a base Pd erected vertically on the base Sc, in the position of use of the support 100. The base shown in this FIG. 1, a square or at least polygonal geometry. It is made of metal. The base Sc is formed in this FIG. 1, of a parallelepiped plate. It is made of metal.

The upper end of the foot Pd transversely carries a fixing bar Bf of the seat post Ts and the saddle SI of at least one cycle.

The fixing bar Bf carries, for this purpose, at least one locking means Mbt of a seat post Ts as well as at least one locking means Mbs of a corresponding seat SI. In this Fig. 1, the fixing bar Bf carries respectively at its two ends, two locking means Mbt of a seat post Ts as well as two locking means Mbs of a corresponding seat SI.

Said or each blocking means Mb of the front wheel Ra of said cycle consists of a hoop Ac in which can take place the front wheel Ra of a cycle Cy. The hoop is erected, vertically in this Fig. 1, in the position of use of the device 100.

The device 100 is preferably equipped with two hoops Ac for receiving the two front wheels of two Cy cycles. Said or each hoop Ac has an inverted U geometry comprising two branches and between which the two ends of its axis can come to take place to prohibit the disassembly of the front wheel of the cycle Cy. Said or each hoop Ac can be equipped with at least one widening plate arranged in line with the position of the axis of the front wheel Ra.

Said or each hoop Ac is preferably fixed on the foot Pd. More specifically, and with reference to this FIG. 1, at least one frame Cd for receiving a storage chest Cs of accessories related to the practice of cycling, is fixed to the foot Pd and said or each hoop Ac is fixed to said frame Cd.

The Cd frame includes two side rails joined at their two ends by two crosspieces. Said or each hoop Ac is fixed on a lateral spar of said frame Cd. Said frame is fixed at the middle of one of its crosspieces, on the foot Pd. Preferably, two superimposed frames, one lower Cdl disposed at ground level and the other upper Cd2 are fixed to the foot Pd and the two arches Ac are respectively fixed to the two side rails of the two frames Cd.

Thus by advancing a cycle Cy to position the axis of its front wheel Ra in a hoop Ac, it becomes impossible to disassemble said front wheel from the cycle.

The storage case Cs can come and take place in the two frames Cd, as the arrow F suggests, to be fixed there, for example by bolting. It rests on the lower frame Cdl and its opening is bordered by the second frame Cd2. Its opening can be closed by means of a cover Cv, preferably mounted in an articulated manner, as shown in this FIG. 1, through a hinge. This is mounted so that the storage case Cs can open on the side of the base Pd. A lock, not shown, is mounted in the storage chest Cs to allow the lid Cv to be locked when it is placed in its closed position.

The angle brackets constituting the upper frame Cd2 form an interior recess in which the cover Cv takes place when it has been tilted in its closed position to make it difficult to open said cover using a crowbar.

The fixing bar Bf is offset from the upper part of the foot Pd by means of at least one section. It is deported opposite the Cs storage chest. The section is formed by two telescopic tubes, one of which is fixed to the upper end of the stand Pd and the other of which is fixed to the fixing bar Bf and preferably in the middle. It is thus possible to slide the fixing bar Bf back and forth. A blocking means such as an anti-theft bolt makes it possible to block the translational movement of the fixing bar Bf in a position corresponding to the size of the cycle to be immobilized, in particular its length, such as a bicycle for adults, for children, a hybrid bike, an ATV, an electric bike.

In the same logic, the height position of the Pt stem can also be adjusted. The foot Pd is formed by two telescopic tubes. A locking means such as an anti-theft bolt makes it possible to block the raising and lowering movement of the fixing bar Bf in a position corresponding to the size of the cycle to be immobilized, in particular its height.

In the invention, said blocking means Mbt is designed to receive the seat post Ts of a cycle Cy by advancing the latter and then to lock in place said seat post to prevent any mobility of the cycle Cy by pressing on the ground or on a surface. The direction of advancement of the Cy cycle is indicated by the arrow F2.

In Fig. 2, the blocking means Mbt comprises an open housing Lg, for example in the shape of a U and in which the seat post Ts can take place, a lock Vr slidably mounted along or preferably inside the fixing bar Bf , between a position for releasing said opening and a position for closing said opening. The housing Lg extends in a practically horizontal plane and in the direction of the frames Cd. The fixing bar Bf has at least in this embodiment the geometry of a hollow metal tube. The hollow tube can be cylindrical or polygonal such as square. The geometry of the lock Vr allows it to slide freely in the fixing bar Bf.

This closing position of the lock Vr is shown in FIG. 3. The seat post Ts mounted on the cycle is then retained in the housing Lg closed by the lock Vr.

The lock Vr is connected to an operating means for moving it between its two extreme positions. The maneuver takes on Figs. 2 and 3, the shape of a pull tab Tt whose axis crosses the fixing bar Bf through a light which crosses it and which is connected to the bolt Vr. The Tt zipper can be moved by the hand of a user of the anti-theft device.

In the invention, said locking means Mbs is designed to lock the saddle SI in place when the seatpost Ts has been positioned in the housing Lg. It is constituted in Figs. 1, 2 and 3, of a loop Bc in which the saddle SI can be inserted and held in place. The loop extends upwards and its passage is oriented perpendicular to the direction of the SI saddle.

Advantageously, the housing Lg as well as the loop Bc are formed of a single and same component and precisely a bent metal tube and the two ends of which are welded to a corresponding free end of the fixing bar Bf. Loop Bc is then not closed.

Thus, the cycle Cy remains immobilized with its rear wheel Ra resting on the ground or on a surface thanks to the two means Mbt and Mbs. The SI saddle can no longer be removed. The front wheel Ra of the cycle Cy is immobilized in its corresponding hoop Ac and its axis cannot be removed.

In the invention, with reference to FIG. 1, the anti-theft device 100 is provided with a means of blocking Mbv of said or two latches when they are positioned in their closed position. The locking means Mbv can also act, for example, by means of a cable sliding in a sheath to unlock the lock of the cover Cv of the storage chest Cs allowing access to its content.

In Fig. 4, the locking means Mbv comprises a latch Lq movable radially through the fixing bar Bf between an exit position of said fixing bar, visible in the left-hand part of FIG and a position of entry into said bar attachment, visible on the right side of Fig. and where it prevents the lock Vr from leaving its closed position. In its extended position, the latch Lq unlocks the lock of the cover Cv of the storage chest Cs.

The release of the latch Lq from its entry position is subject to a control device such as a mechanical or electronic coding key box. The user must enter the correct code to unlock the Lq latch and thus be able to exit the Cy cycle from the anti-theft device 100.

As a real achievement, the supervisory body includes an electronic payment terminal. The payment terminal is linked to a fleet management center.

The electronic payment terminal includes, in particular, a bank card reader, an input keyboard, a display screen.

The payment terminal is connected to a control member for the operation of a latch release electromagnet. The control member is constituted, for example, by an electrical relay.

The operation of the anti-theft device 100 is as follows: a user appears in front of the device 100. He enters the correct code in the control unit or makes a payment for the cycle rental service. The latch Lq is released. He moves the pull tab Tt to release the lock Vr. He moves the Cy cycle back to free it from device 100. He lifts the trunk lid so that he can use the accessories it contains, in particular, helmet (s), gloves, fluorescent vest (s), etc. and in general, all types of accessories related to the practice of cycling, mountain biking, hybrid biking, electric bike.

The anti-theft device 100 of the invention is simple to use, since it suffices to advance the Cy cycle in the device 100 and to close the lock.

It immobilizes the Cy cycle on the ground or on a surface. The Cy cycle SI saddle can no longer be removed. The axis of the front wheel Ra remains trapped in a hoop Ac.

Claims (12)
