Abstract

A panty (20) comprising a lower end (42) and an upper end (44), a panty (22) having a front end (28) and a back end and a waistband (34A), an upper portion of the panty (22) having a cut such that a height of the rear end of the panty (22) is greater than a height of the front end (28) of the panty (22), the height being measured by ratio to the lower end (42) and in a plane of symmetry of the pantyhose (A), the belt (34A) being attached to the upper part of the panty (22) so that an assembly line (38) of the belt (34A) on the pants (22) is present. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a tack (20).

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present disclosure relates to a pantyhose comprising a belt attached to the pantyhose as well as a method of mounting the belt on the pantyhose.

As shown in Figure 1, a pantyhose is generally composed of two parts 10 of generally tubular shape, knitted separately from one another. The two parts 10 each comprise a lower part 12 intended to form the legs of the tights as well as the pants and an upper part 12 intended to form the belt. The two parts 10 are then split 16 at their upper ends and joined to each other by several seams to form panties and the belt.

This traditional construction leads to a belt which has three main drawbacks:

- visually, it cuts the silhouette on a horizontal plane which is not very feminine;

- it squeezes and shears the belly and hips often by rolling on itself which can cause bulges and discomfort for the person wearing the tights;

- the seams at the waist are thick and can cause red marks on the belly, which in addition to their unsightly effect, can also cause discomfort.

In the following description, the terms "front", "rear", "upper", "lower", "top", "bottom" refer to the position or orientation of an element or d 'a compound, this position or orientation being defined with respect to a person standing on a horizontal surface. The terms “interior” will also be used to designate the face intended to come into contact with the person and “exterior” to designate the face intended to be seen when the person is wearing the tights.

OBJECT AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present description aims to remedy these drawbacks at least in part.

To this end, the present disclosure relates to a pantyhose comprising a lower end and an upper end, pants comprising a front end and a rear end and a belt, an upper part of the pants having a cutout such as a height of the rear end of the pants is greater than a height of the front end of the pants, the height being measured relative to the lower end and in plane one of symmetry of the pantyhose, the belt being attached to the upper part of the pants so that an assembly line of the belt on the pants is present.

Due to the difference in height of the pants, the belt is lower on the front of the pantyhose than on the back. This shape provides comfort when the pantyhose is worn by a person. Indeed, the belt descends towards the front end of the pants and is placed comfortably on the person.

Furthermore, this belt being attached to the upper end of the pants, the material used for the belt may be of a different nature from the material of the pants. For example, it is possible to use materials which cannot be knitted or which are difficult to knit.

It is understood that the pants and the belt are two different parts which are assembled to one another. Indeed, the belt is not knitted with tights.

The cut can be obtained by cutting a part of the pants, for example using a cordless serger, a cutting wheel, scissors, a band saw, a jigsaw, or a cutting laser.

The cut can be obtained by a particular knitting of the tights, so that once finished, the pants have a cut, that is to say an upper edge such as a height of the rear end of the pants is greater than a height of the front end of the pants.

The belt can be attached to the upper part of the pants by ultrasonic welding or by stitching.

The ultrasonic welding makes it possible to form a solid assembly line and having no excess thickness.

The seam makes it possible to form a solid assembly line.

The tights may include a reinforcing strip bonded to the assembly line.

This reinforcing strip makes it possible to strengthen the assembly of the belt on the pants. It also hides the assembly line. Thus, this reinforcing strip can also increase the comfort of the person wearing the tights.

This reinforcing strip can be a film of polymeric material deposited and bonded to the assembly line, for example a film of material comprising silicone or polyurethane.

This reinforcing strip allows better retention of the pantyhose when worn by reducing the risk that the pantyhose moves relative to the person wearing it when this person moves.

The reinforcing strip may have an elongation under load in the direction of the length of the reinforcing strip greater than an elongation under load in the direction of the width of the reinforcing strip.

Thus, the reinforcing strip can accompany the deformation of the pantyhose and the belt, especially when the person puts on or takes off the pantyhose.

The elongation under load is measured according to standard NF EN 14704-1.

The belt can be formed of a strip and include two cut ends.

The strip intended to form the belt has a general shape of ribbon, that is to say a quadrilateral shape, two opposite sides of which are parallel and form the upper and lower edges of the belt. By cut ends is meant the sides of the quadrilateral connecting these two opposite sides.

The belt can also be formed of a band forming a ring.

At least one cut end can be attached to a lower edge of the strip, forming an overlap zone of the strip on a front part of the pants.

At least one cut end can be attached to an upper edge of the strip.

Each cut end can be attached to a lower edge of the strip, forming an overlapping area of the diamond-shaped strip on a front part of the pants.

This increases the fastening force of the belt. In fact, each end being attached, the risks are reduced that the belt may partially detach or even open.

Note that the square is a particular example of the diamond.

The two cut ends can be attached to each other.

Or the cut ends can for example be attached by gluing, by ultrasonic welding, by sewing.

Once the cut end (s) is attached, the strip can form an angle at the front end of the pants, which can be greater than or equal to 80 ° (degree), preferably greater than or equal to 90 °, even more preferably greater than or equal to 100 ° and may be less than or equal to 160 °, preferably less than or equal to 150 °, even more preferably less than or equal to 140 °.

The belt can be composed of a mesh and have a warp direction, an elongation under load of the belt in the warp direction can be greater than or equal to 50%, preferably greater than or equal to 100%, still more preferably greater than or equal to 150% and may be less than or equal to 350%, preferably less than or equal to 300%, even more preferably less than or equal to 250%.

The belt may be composed of a mesh and have a weft direction, an elongation under load of the belt in the weft direction may be greater than or equal to 40%, preferably greater than or equal to 90%, again more preferably greater than or equal to 140% and may be less than or equal to 300%, preferably less than or equal to 250%, even more preferably less than or equal to 200%.

The belt can deform elastically relatively significantly, especially when a person puts on or takes off the tights. The mesh of the belt is flexible and can deform elastically in a relatively large way while having enough hold so as not to "roll" when the tights are worn. The belt therefore remains flat against the skin of the person wearing the tights, which increases the wearing comfort of the tights.

The elongation under load is measured according to standard NF EN 14704-1.

The mesh can be a 3D mesh.

The 3D mesh can be a knitted mesh in 3 dimensions, also called a "spacer fabric" or be formed by a superposition of two layers of mesh assembled together by gluing. It can also include a layer interposed between the two layers of mesh.

The belt can be composed of a monostrech elastic band in a warp direction and can have an elongation under load of the belt in the warp direction greater than or equal to 20%, preferably greater than or equal to 50%, even more preferably greater than or equal to 100% and less than or equal to 300%, preferably less than or equal to 250%, even more preferably less than or equal to 200%.

The belt can deform elastically relatively significantly, especially when a person puts on or takes off the tights. The belt is flexible and can deform elastically in a relatively large way while having enough hold so as not to "roll" when the tights are worn. The belt therefore remains flat against the skin of the person wearing the tights, which increases the wearing comfort of the tights.

It is understood that the upper and lower edges of the strip are parallel to the elastic son.

The elongation under load is measured according to standard NF EN 14704-1.

The height of the belt can be greater than or equal to 1 cm (centimeter), preferably greater than or equal to 2 cm, even more preferably greater than or equal to 3 cm and is less than or equal to 10 cm, preferably less than or equal to 9 cm, even more preferably less than or equal to 8 cm.

This height is measured perpendicular to the lower edge of the strip.

A difference in height between the front end and the rear end of the pants can be greater than or equal to 1.0 cm, preferably greater than or equal to 3.0 cm, even more preferably greater than or equal to 5.0 cm and may be less than or equal to 15.0 cm, preferably less than or equal to 13.0 cm, even more preferably less than or equal to 11.0 cm.

This difference in height allows to fit the shapes of the person wearing the tights and therefore to provide comfort.

The cutout may include an intermediate portion, disposed between the front end and the rear end, a height of the intermediate portion may be greater than the height of the rear end, a difference in height between the front end and the intermediate part possibly being greater than or equal to 1.2 cm, preferably greater than or equal to 3.2 cm, even more preferably greater than or equal to 5.2 cm and possibly being less than or equal to 15.4 cm, preferably less than or equal to 13.4 cm, even more preferably less than or equal to 11.4 cm, the intermediate part being able to be arranged horizontally between 40% and 80% of a distance measured horizontally from the front end and separating the front end from the rear end.

This intermediate part has a height greater than the height of the rear end and increases the wearing comfort of the tights.

The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing a pantyhose comprising at least the following steps:

- cutting of an upper part of pantyhose to form a cut, the panty having a front end and a rear end, the cut being such that the rear end of the panty is higher than the front end of panties;

- Assembling a belt on the upper part of the pants so that an assembly line of the belt on the pants is formed.

The assembly of the belt on the upper part of the pants can be achieved by ultrasonic welding or by sewing.

The manufacturing process may include a step of bonding a reinforcing strip on the assembly line.

The manufacturing process can include the following steps:

- cutting of two ends of a strip intended to form the belt;

- attachment of each cut end to a lower edge of the strip and formation of an overlapping zone of the strip in the form of a diamond on a front part of the pants.

The manufacturing process can include the following steps:

- cutting of two ends of a strip intended to form the belt;

- attaches the two ends cut one on the other.

Detailed description of the invention [0060] FIG. 2A represents an uncut knitted tights 20A comprising panties 22 and two legs 24. In FIG. 2A, the uncut knitted tights 20A is shown with the two legs 24 superimposed one on the other. on the other. The strip 34 has two sides of the quadrilateral which connect these two opposite sides. These two sides which connect the upper edge 35A and the lower edge 35B form the cut ends 36A, 36B of the strip 34. In fact, the strip 34 can be cut from a ribbon of length greater than the strip 34 and having the same height as the strip 34. Also, the ends 36A, 36B are qualified as cut.

The belt 34A can be made of mesh, for example a 3D mesh formed by the superposition of two layers of mesh knitted from a thread or mixture of threads comprising polyamide and elastane, for example at least 15% by mass of elastane, for example 19%. The strip 34 has a chain direction. The strip 34 also has a weft direction. An elongation under load of the belt in the weft direction is greater than or equal to 40%, preferably greater than or equal to 90%, even more preferably greater than or equal to 140% and is less than or equal to

300%, preferably less than or equal to 250%, even more preferably less than or equal to 200%.

For example, for a mesh band 34 comprising at least 20% by mass of elastane, the force applied for the measurement is 7 N (Newton), the elongation under load measured is 110%.

The band 34 can also be composed with a monostrech elastic band in the warp direction parallel to the upper 35A and lower 35B edges of the band 34. An elongation under load of the belt in the warp direction can be greater than or equal at 20%, preferably greater than or equal to 50%, even more preferably greater than or equal to 100% and may be less than or equal to 300%, preferably less than or equal to 250%, even more preferably less than or equal to 200%. For example, the warp threads may include elastane. The strip 34 can be a mixture of polyamide, polyester and elastane or a mixture of polyamide and elastane. For example, the strip 34 may comprise approximately 59% by mass of polyamide, approximately 27% by mass of polyester and approximately 14% by mass of elastane. As another example, the strip 34 may comprise approximately 86% by mass of polyamide and approximately 14% by mass of elastane or approximately 84% by mass of polyamide and approximately 16% by mass of elastane.

For example, for an elastic band 34 comprising at least 12% by mass of elastane, the force applied for the measurement is 5 N (Newton) and the elongation under load is 150%.

In Figure 5, there is shown the belt 34A of Figure 4A, we could just as easily have represented the belt 34A of Figures 4B-4D.

FIGS. 6A-6C are enlarged schematic views of a detail in FIG. 5.

In FIG. 6A, the assembly line 38 is also visible on the inner face of the pantyhose, that is to say the side intended to come into contact with the person wearing the pantyhose 20.

The assembly line 38 of Figure 6A is obtained by ultrasonic welding of the belt 34A on the upper part of the pants

Figure 6B shows the assembly line 38 of Figure 5 when the belt 34A is attached and assembled on the upper part of the pants 22 by sewing.

Figure 6C shows in dotted lines the assembly line 38 of Figure 5 when the belt 34A is attached and assembled on the upper part of the pants 22 by gluing. On the inner face of the pantyhose, the lower edge 35B of the strip 34 is seen in transparency through the upper part of the pants. The upper edge 22A of the pants is also shown, which is visible on the inside face of the pantyhose.

FIG. 6D represents any one of the embodiments of the assembly line 38 of FIGS. 6A-6C on which a reinforcing strip 40 is glued to the assembly line 38.

The reinforcing strip 40 may be a film of polymeric material deposited and bonded to the assembly line 38, for example a film of material comprising silicone.

The reinforcing strip 40 may be made of fabric and glued to the assembly line 38. The reinforcing strip 40 may have an elongation under load in the direction of the length of the reinforcing strip greater than an elongation under load across the width of the reinforcement strip. The reinforcing strip 40 can be pre-coated with glue on one of its faces.

For example, for a reinforcing strip 40 comprising 73% by weight of polyamide and 27% by weight of elastane, under a load of 15 N, the reinforcing strip 40 may have an elongation under load in the direction of the length of approximately 125% and approximately 105% across the width of the reinforcing strip 40.

For this same reinforcement strip 40, the elongation under load of 35 N in the lengthwise direction is approximately 175% and approximately 120% in the widthwise direction.

Tights according to claim 3, wherein the reinforcing strip has an elongation under load in the lengthwise direction of the reinforcing strip greater than an elongation under load in the widthwise direction of the reinforcing strip.

[YES] We will now describe a process for manufacturing the tights 20.

We have not described here the conventional steps of manufacturing and assembling the legs of the uncut knitted tights 20A.

The pantyhose 20 is produced by cutting an upper part of the non-cut knitted pantyhose 20A to form the cutout 26 (step 100). The belt 34A is then assembled on the upper part of the pants 22 and the assembly line 38 is formed (step 102). The reinforcing strip 40 can then be bonded to the assembly line 38 (step 104).

It is understood that this step 104 is optional.

The assembly by ultrasonic welding is carried out by placing the belt 34A and the knitted tights cut 20B on the outer face against the outer face. The assembly is passed through an ultrasonic welding device which cuts the belt 34 and the cut knitted tights 20B and welds the belt 34 on the cut knitted tights 20B. There is therefore provided a cutting height 26 and a belt height 34A which takes account of this cutting / welding operation.

Furthermore, the method may also include a step of cutting the two cut ends 36A, 36B of the strip 34 (step 106) as well as a step of attaching one or more cut ends 36A, 36B (step 108).

These steps 106 and 108 can be carried out on another site or another station than the station for assembling the belt 34A on the cut knitted tights 20B.

Although the present description has been described with reference to a specific embodiment, it is obvious that various modifications and changes can be made to these examples without departing from the general scope of the invention as defined by the claims. In addition, individual features of the various embodiments discussed can be combined in additional embodiments. Therefore, the description and the drawings should be considered in an illustrative rather than restrictive sense.

Tights (20) according to claim 1, wherein the belt is attached to the upper part of the pants by ultrasonic welding or by sewing. 3.
