Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'alimentation d'un guide d'onde, dit guide d'onde (21) radial, comprenant deux parois (62) espacées l'une de l'autre par une cavité (61) symétrique de révolution autour d'un axe sécant avec les parois (62), dans lequel on injecte dans le guide d'onde radial un rayonnement d'excitation propre à propager dans la cavité (61) une onde, dite onde guidée, présentant une phase variant autour de l'axe de la cavité (61) dans tout plan orthogonal à l'axe de la cavité (61), caractérisé en ce qu'on injecte dans le guide d'onde radial une unique onde d'excitation à polarisation circulaire par une unique entrée d'alimentation centrée sur l'axe de la cavité (61). L'invention s'étend à un dispositif comprenant un guide d'onde (21) radial et un dispositif (28) d'excitation apte à mettre en œuvre un procédé selon l'invention.
