Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de surveiller l'état de veille du conducteur, son temps de conduite et de le réveiller, d'alerter les autres conducteurs, faire réagir le véhicule et mais aussi de gérer l'alerte de certaines options de navigation comme prévenir de la présence d'un véhicule dans l'angle-mort ou la surveillance de la jauge d'essence ou encore la fermeture des portiéres du véhicule... Il est constitué d'un électro-oculographe (1), de lunettes avec électrodes (2) mesurant l'activité de l'oeil pendant la conduite, d'un ordinateur (12) ou (3) qui déclenche le signal de réveil en fonction de cette mesure: vibrations de la couverture de siège (4) et un son du haut-parleurs (5). L'ordinateur déclenche ensuite un signal d'avertissement/réaction grâce à l'allumage des feux de détresse (7), puis de la mise en route du régulateur de vitesse (8) et du correcteur de trajectoire (9) (si le véhicule est muni de ces deux options). Le procédé est aussi muni d'un système d'alerte de certaines fonctions de navigation (6) du véhicule relié à l'ordinateur du dispositif (3) ou (13) (si ces options sont disponibles) comme le radar d'angle mort, le niveau de la d'essence la jauge.... Ce système avertit l'usager par le biais de diodes électroluminescentes (10) fixées sur les bords des verres des lunettes (2). Le dispositif est aussi doté d'un compteur (11) réglable qui indique au conducteur son temps de conduite (toute les deux heures par exemple) via les haut-parleurs (5). Description
La présente invention est un dispositif d'aide à la conduite contenant notamment un système d'alerte de navigation et une fonction de réveil et d'avertissement du conducteur en cas d'endormissement au volant. A priori, aucun dispositif comprenant, à la fois,des lunettes à oculographie surveillant l'activité électrique de l'oeil pendant la conduite pour détecter l'état de veille du conducteur, gérant le réveil de ce dernier et le temps de conduite, l'avertissement des autres conducteurs et une assistance à la conduite n'existe encore. Le dispositif selon l'invention permet de remédier à ce problème. Il comporte, en effet, selon une première caractéristique une paire de lunettes sur les branches desquelles est montée une série d'électrodes à l'avant et à l'arrière de l'oeil visant à mesurer son activité électrique pendant la conduite, indicant par celle-ci si l'oeil est ouvert ou fermé et donc l'état de veille du conducteur du véhicule. S'il est endormi pendant un certain temps donné (inférieur ou égal à 2 ou 3 secondes par exemple), le dispositif émet à ce dernier un signal de réveil vibratoire et sonore. Le dispositif , selon une deuxième caractéristique comprend, sur les montures, au bord des verres des lunettes, une ou plusieurs diodes électroluminescentes qui indique au conducteur du véhicule certaines données de navigation (comme la présence d'une voiture dans l'angle mort du rétroviseur, si le véhicule est doté de cette option). Selon une troisième caractéristique, le dispositif comprend une fonction qui le relie au système interne du véhicule permettant, si le conducteur est endormi, de déclencher un signal d'avertissement en mettant en route les feux de détresse et d'autres dispositifs exisant en option sur certaines voitures, comme le régulateur de vitesse qui ralentira le véhicule et le correcteur de trajectoire qui maintiendra l'engin sur la route. Selon une quatrième caractéristique, le dispositif selon l'invention comporte dans le même ordinateur qui controle la fonction "réveil", un compteur qui indique à un chauffeur de poids lourds (par exemple) son temps de conduite, assistant ainsi le travail du disque embarqué dont sont dotés les camions. Selon les modes particuliers de réalisation: - Le système d'aide à la navigation et d'avertissement/réaction n'est compris dans le dispositif que si ce dernier est monté en série sur le véhicule en usine. -Le système de réveil qui comprend un vibreur et peut-être fixé sur les montures des lunettes ou sur une couverture de siège vibrante. -Le système de réveil sonore comprend des haut-parleurs peut-être soit fixé sur les branches des lunettes de conduite soit sur l'appui-tête du siège. 3037703 -2- -La connectique entre les éléments du dispositif peut se faire par un lien non filaire ( bluetooth par exemple). Les dessins annexés représentent le fonctionnement de l'invention: La figure 1 représente le fonctionnement du système de réveil/navigation vendu monté 5 en usine et la figure 2, le même fonctionnement mais vendu en kit séparé. Ici, le système de réveil possédant son propre ordinateur embarqué (12) qui n'est pas relié à l'ordinateur de bord du véhicule. Les options d'aide à la navigation sont incluses dans le kit vendu séparemment que si elles peuvent fonctionner sans l'ordinateur du véhicule: l'aide à la navigation est équipée d'un ordinateur embarqué (13) lui aussi indépendant de celui du 10 véhicule avec lequel les options peuvent communiquer sans manipulation sur l'engin. La figure 3 représente le fonctionnement du système d'avertissement/réaction qui n'est inclus dans le procédé que si le système est monté en usine car il est reliéà l'ordinateur de bord de l'engin. En référence au dessin de la figure 1, le dispositif de réveil comporte un boitier 15 contenant l'électro-oculographe (1) relié à une paire de lunettes, sur les montures desquelles sont fixées les électrodes (2) nécessaires à la mesure de l'activité de l'oeil, une unité centrale (3) qui transmet l'ordre de mise en route du signal de réveil à la couverture de siège vibrante (4) et aux haut-parleurs (5). L'ordinateur (3) par le biais d'un chronomètre (11) indique aussi au chauffeur son temps de conduite en utilisant les haut- 20 parleurs (5).
