La nouvelle invention, du fait de son épaisseur et de sa continuité entre les quatre murs porteurs de la construction, permet d'obtenir une étanchéité à l'air maximum. Elle améliore l'efficacité des produits isolants posés sous la charpente et protège efficacement l'habitation pendant une grosse tempête qui aurait arraché la toiture tuile ou bac acier. La figure 2 permet de visualiser le point haut N°1, et le point bas N°4 de la circulation de l'air entre les chevrons. Ces derniers sont posés sur la membrane N°3 et vissés dans la charpente.
