Description
The present invention relates to a stick with a float for aquatic activities. It allows propulsion thanks to the movement of the back arm of a practitioner installed on any type of floating object such as a board, a boat, a kayak, .... It also allows to stabilize and gain buoyancy . This stick can be used regardless of the season, both inside a municipal or private pool, outside or at sea, on a lake, on a river, on a river or on a river. pond. The stick can be itself composed entirely of wood, composite, polystyrene, plastic, carbon, .... or self manufactured with several materials and materials defined above.
Chacune des parois latérales parallèles entres elles rejoignent par leur longueur respectivement la paroi bombée et la paroi inclinée plate (figures 1 et 2 (4)).This invention consists of two parts (Figures 1 and 2), a tube (Figures 1 and 2 (1)) and a float (Figures 1 and 2). At one end of the tube is an ergonomic wrist (Figures 1 and 2 (2)) to accommodate a hand. The float is connected from above to the other end of the tube (Figures 1 and 2 (3)). The first part, the tube, can be adjustable in height depending on the size and level of the practitioner as well as the activity chosen or the type of floating object used. The tube is inclined but can thanks to a system (Figures 1 and 2 (8)) to be positioned at 90 ° from the float (Figures 1 and 2 (9)). The inclination facilitates the penetration of the float into the water. The second part, the hollow float filled with air is composed at the front of a curved wall (FIGS. 1 and 2 (7)), of two parallel flat vertical side walls between them having the shape of a semicircle (FIGS. 1 and 2 (5)), a curved portion (FIGS. 1 and 2 (6)) and a flat wall inclined at the rear at an angle of 60 degrees to the tube (FIGS. The curved wall extends from the width of the top of the inclined wall to reach the width of the bottom of the inclined wall Each of the parallel side walls between them meet respectively by their length the curved wall and the flat inclined wall (FIGS. and 2 (4)).
The inclined flat wall (FIGS. 1 and 2 (4)) makes it possible, when the float is under water and during the movement of the arm from the front to the rear, to position itself perpendicular to the water for a full support when pushing back the float. The volume of water repelled by the inclined flat wall because located in opposition to the water, serves as both resistance and support for a better propulsion forward of the practitioner installed on his floating object.
The curved wall (Figures 1 and 2 (7)) allows better penetration into the water during propulsion as soon as the practitioner pushes the tube back with his arm. On the other hand, it also improves the penetration into the water when the practitioner brings the float back through the tube. In addition, this curved wall and the fact that the hollow float is filled with air facilitates the return of the float to the open air.
The parallel vertical side walls between them (Figures 1 and 2 (5)), when pushing the float rearward, to keep the stick in a straight path. The float does not deviate from the requested trajectory as soon as it is pushed backwards. The water slides on these two sidewalls holding the float in a path parallel to any floating object on which the practitioner is positioned. These walls also play the same role when the practitioner brings back the stick. These walls also prevent the whole from drifting. In contrast to the connection (FIGS. 1 and 2 (3)) between the tube and the float, or at the bottom, is a curved portion (FIGS. 1 and 2 (6)) which increases the stability of the stick. This part also allows the float not to deviate from its initial direction and to avoid vibrations when pushing the stick into the water. The set provides the practitioner with increased stability for better balance and optimized propulsion when it is positioned on any type of floating object. The invention aims to improve the existing propulsion devices. Indeed, this system 10 allows, while maintaining a certain stability and flotation, to propel itself with any type of floating object. In the accompanying drawings, given by way of non-limiting example of one of the embodiments of the invention but also on the size and thickness of the components: FIG. 1 shows the two parts of the stick as seen from the side FIG. 2 shows the two parts of the stick viewed from the side. The positioning of the various constituent elements, in particular the parallel vertical walls between them, the curved wall, inclined wall and the curved part give the object of the invention a maximum of useful effects that had not been, so far, obtained by sticks.
