Description

The invention relates to a container for a cosmetic product, an associated manufacturing method and an applicator assembly comprising such a container. Cosmetic product applicator assemblies are known, in particular for a cosmetic product intended to be applied to the eyelashes, such as mascara, comprising a container containing the cosmetic product and an applicator sub-assembly adapted to be fixed in a removable manner to the container. The container generally comprises a body, the body comprising walls defining a space in which the cosmetic product is contained, and a neck defining an opening through which the cosmetic product can be extracted, the neck having a neck.

The applicator subassembly generally includes a plug adapted to be attached to the neck, a stem extending from the plug and an applicator attached to a free end of the rod. The applicator comprises a core and a plurality of protuberances or bristles extending from the core. When the cap is fixed on the neck, the rod and the applicator extend inside the container.

An object of the invention is to increase the cosmetic product restitution capacity of the applicator assemblies. Thus, said inclined zone Z will advantageously form a cone of revolution. In other words, said inclined zone Z forms a dome that improves the rate of restitution since it delimits a portion of the inner wall 26 of the body 20, portion inclined relative to the axis X. This inclination facilitates the recovery of mascara by the 'applicator. It should be noted, again, that the body 20 is advantageously a rigid piece. The term "rigid", which is neither deformable under atmospheric pressure, nor under a force exerted by the fingers of a user. The body 20 will, for example, made of plastic material, in particular polypropylene.

An envelope 40 will be further configured to cover the body 20 of said container 10, except for said neck 22. This envelope 40 is particularly visible in FIGS. 3 and 4.

It can be seen in these FIGS. 3 and 4 that said envelope 40 is also configured to cover the bottom 25 of said body 22. Like the body 20, the envelope 40 is a rigid piece, made of a plastic material, in particular polypropylene .

The holding in position of the envelope 40 around the body 20 may be realized in different ways. We will give below two examples of mechanical fixing, without these being limiting. Said envelope 40 may advantageously be glued to the body 20, especially at the bottom 25 thereof. For this, as can be seen in FIG. 6 (FIG. 6 is a detail view of FIG. 3), a clearance J2 will be provided between the envelope 40 and the body 20. Said body 20 may be obtained by injection blow molding. It will advantageously have a substantially constant thickness between its inner walls 26 and outer 27. This thickness may for example be of the order of one millimeter. Thus, said body 20 will have on its outer wall 27 an inclined zone corresponding to the inclined zone Z of the inner wall 26 of said body 20 which has been described above. In other words, as can be seen in FIG. 3, and in detail in FIG. 5, a space is created between the outer wall 27 of the body 20 and the casing 40 provided for being cylindrical. This space is unsightly. In addition, this space can become a place of storage of possible impurities.

This is why a washer 24 of material may be provided on said outer wall 26. This washer 24 will be configured to brush against said envelope 40, in particular in the vicinity of a base of the neck 22 of said body 20. By "grazing", one means that a game J1 is provided between the washer 24 and the envelope 40 of the order, for example, the tenth of a millimeter.

Said washer 24 will advantageously be integral with the body 22, in particular during the shaping step of said body 20. We have seen that said body 20 can advantageously be obtained by a blow molding step. However, this method is not limiting and said body 20 can be obtained by any other technical means, for example by a conventional molding process, without this being outside the scope of the invention. The envelope 40 will be obtained by injection molding, by extrusion, or by any other known means. FIG. 4 illustrates the joint plane 41 of the envelope 40 when it is obtained by injection molding. Any type of known applicator can be used here, whether it is molded or twisted, straight or curved core. Knowing that said container 10 is filled with viscous cosmetic product, in particular mascara, the applicator is intended to be immersed in this cosmetic product contained in the container 10, especially when the applicator subassembly is fixed on it. More specifically, the cosmetic product is contained in the cavity formed inside the body 20, between the inner wall 26, the bottom 25 and the neck 22. It should be noted that a game is often considered between the free end of the applicator and the inner wall 26 of the body 20 of the containers 10 of cosmetic product. This game (not shown here) aims to avoid contact between the free end of said applicator and the inner wall 26 of the body 20. The disadvantage then found is the stagnation of cosmetic product at the bottom 25 of the body 20. This stagnation is due when the bottom 25 is substantially flat, the fact that the applicator can not access it. Thus, there is a better restitution of cosmetic product when the body 20, with or without the inclined zone Z which has just been described, is combined with a particular shape given to the bottom 25 of said container 10, in particular of said body 20. This M shape can easily be obtained during the blowing of an injected preform during the step of injection molding said body 20 mentioned above. This makes it possible to keep the thickness of said body 20 substantially constant, in particular in the vicinity of said bottom 25.

By keeping a constant thickness of material, the shape in M does not have the disadvantage of being obtained with too much material at the bottom 25 of said body 20, too full of material that may have defects, for example sinkholes . In other words, the bottom 25 illustrated in FIG. 2 is configured to facilitate access of the applicator subassembly to said cosmetic product, without its forming process causing any defect in said body 20. It should also be noted that variant embodiments are of course possible.
