Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'imprégnation pour un substrat fibreux fonctionnel, une composition liquide pour la mise en œuvre de ce procédé et le substrat fibreux imprégné obtenu. Le substrat fibreux fonctionnel imprégné est approprié pour la fabrication de pièces ou d'articles mécaniques ou structurels. La présente invention concerne en particulier un procédé industriel pour l'imprégnation d'un substrat fibreux fonctionnel ou de fibres fonctionnelles longues avec une composition liquide visqueuse contenant principalement des composants monomères. Cette composition visqueuse est nommée ci-après sirop monomère liquide. L'invention concerne également un substrat fibreux fonctionnel pré-imprégné avec ledit sirop, qui est utile pour la fabrication de pièces ou d'articles mécaniques ou structurels. Plus particulièrement, l'imprégnation d'un substrat fibreux fonctionnel avec le sirop monomère est réalisée dans un moule. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication pour la fabrication de pièces ou d'articles mécaniques ou structurels, et des pièces mécaniques ou structurelles tridimensionnelles obtenues par ce procédé.
