Abstract
The invention relates to a device for self-regulating stop of vehicles engaging against the roads on separate roads. It consists of a built-in metal cabinet, with a removable cover, maintained in a horizontal position in the extension of the road by a system of strikes. The detection is carried out using optical sensors coupled to an electronic interface that triggers the system and causes the lid to rise. The vehicles are protected from impact by the release, at the opening, of reinforced rubber dampers. Perhaps coupled with this electronic interface a whole set of actions to warn users, or the police and gendarmerie (warning signals, spots, projectors, light panels, cameras, camera or network links ). The device according to the invention is more particularly intended for the exits of motorways, expressways, and all roads whose presence of a misinterpretation present a real danger.
Description
The present invention relates to a device for stopping any automobile engaging in the opposite direction on a divided road, an interchange, an off-ramp, a rest or service area, without hindering, a priori, the flow of motorists normally traveling on this portion of road. Such a system is needed today, if we refer to the statistics published by ONISR in 2011, where this year alone reported 94 10 dead and 665 hospitalized wounded, with an average of 2 or 3 vehicles per year. day traveling in the wrong direction on the roads of France. Few effective systems currently exist and these are not entirely satisfactory: damaged vehicle, stoppage of traffic, possibility of circumvention, absence of signaling, rearming problem, impossibility of interception, etc. These devices, for lack of reliability, may endanger other drivers traveling in the right direction. This is the reason why, a national survey revealed in November 2013, seized the public authorities in order to solve this problematic by the contribution of new initiatives and financial means.
The buried device, object of our invention, makes it possible to overcome many of these disadvantages. A removable metal plate (called cover), forming part of a metal cabinet, whose stable position is vertical, is held in a horizontal position by a locking system consisting of inking pins. During the passage of a 25-way vehicle, an optical method (consisting in part of two photocells), sends a signal which, via an electronic interface, makes return the inking nipples in their housing through the timed power supply of electromagnets. The lid thus released lifts up and is positioned at a given angle, preferably low (to maintain good impact resistance), forming an obstacle of adjustable height (10 to 20 cm to not deteriorate the front cars).
The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 shows the armed device, in the locked position. Figure 2 shows, in section in the median plane, a portion of the device located inside the box.
Figure 3 shows the part concerning closing the lid. Figure 4 shows the open device, after detecting a misinterpretation. With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a buried metal box (1), so that the lid (2), in the locked position, is in the extension of the roadway, so that the vehicles traveling in the right direction 10 can pass without slowing down regardless of their speed. This cover (2) is supported on an apron (3) sealed on the cabinet (1) via level points (4) entering small housings provided for this purpose. It is held in position by pins called strikes (5). These strikers (5) are fixed on the front or on the back of the box (1) in housings in which they slide and are held in the "output" position by the action of springs (6). They are inserted into the lid (2) by suitable openings, blocking it in a horizontal position. These latches (5) have an inclined plane directed upwards, allowing during the descent 20 of the lid (2), the retreat of the latter, and their release when they are in front of the existing recesses on the lateral side of the lid . The rotation of the lid (2), the axis of rotation (9) is offset from the center of gravity of the lid (2), is provided by two sealed bearings double rows of balls to compensate for all 25 defects alignment may appear during operation. A counterweight (11) and a stopper (10) provide the tilt and hold the lid up to a certain position. During its ascent, the cover (2) releases, by a retractable system (7), a reinforced rubber protection assembly (8) to dampen the possible shock of a vehicle and allow it to escape without damage . These dampers (8) move and are positioned on the front face of the lid (2). The electromagnets, powered for a short time, cause the recoil of the strikes (5) to allow the cover (2) to begin its ascent. The rearming of the system is ensured by the passage of a vehicle arriving in the normal direction of the traffic. The lid (2) at the end of the descent therefore solicits the latches that engage automatically again. An electronic interface manages the information of the photocells and makes it possible, as soon as a misinterpretation is detected, to trigger warning systems warning the driver - such as spots, spotlights or illuminated panels - but also the identification of the latter - such as cameras, cameras, internet relays and others - to inform the security services to warn the users concerned and generate a trace for people forcing the passage.
