PROCÉDÉ D'AMÉLIORATION DE LA RÉSISTANCE À L'EFFORT D'UNE LÈVRE DE CACHE EN ÉLASTOMÈRE, ET APPLICATION À UNE CONSOLE DE COMMANDE DE FREIN À MAIN D'UN VÉHICULE AUTOMOBILE La présente invention concerne un procédé d'amélioration de la résistance à l'effort d'une lèvre de cache en élastomère, et son application à une console de commande de frein à main d'un véhicule automobile. ARRIÈRE-PLAN DE L'INVENTION On sait que le levier de commande du frein à main d'un véhicule automobile est fréquemment installé dans une console comprenant un boîtier comportant une fenêtre à travers laquelle s'étend le levier de commande de frein à main. La fenêtre est fermée par un cache en élastomère comportant une fente à travers laquelle s'étend le levier de commande de frein à main. La fente a des lèvres dont une face prend appui sur le levier de commande de frein à main. Lors de la manoeuvre du levier de commande de frein à main, le levier de commande de frein à main frotte sur les lèvres. Il est donc nécessaire de minimiser l'épaisseur des lèvres afin que celles-ci exercent une force d'appui faible sur le levier de commande de frein à main. Toutefois on a constaté que pour un cache en élastomère comportant des lèvres minces, celles-ci ont tendance à se déformer avec une dégradation permanente de sorte que la fonction d'étanchéité normalement obtenue par un contact entre les lèvres après le passage du levier de commande de frein, n'est plus assurée. Afin de supprimer ces déformations, il a été envisagé d'augmenter l'épaisseur des lèvres. Toutefois la force de frottement appliqué par les lèvres sur le levier de commande de frein à main est augmentée de façon inacceptable compte tenu de la liberté de mouvement requise pour le levier de commande de frein. OBJET DE L'INVENTION Le but de l'invention est de proposer un procédé d'amélioration de la résistance à l'effort d'une lèvre de cache en élastomère ayant une face prenant appui sur un organe mobile sans augmenter la force d'appui sur l'organe mobile.
