Abstract

Il est décrit ici un matériau composite à base de carbone qui comprend une fibre de carbone à base de lyocell et une matrice de carbone. Le matériau composite à base de carbone présente d'excellentes propriétés physiques, notamment une faible conductivité thermique, une excellente adhérence interfaciale et une excellente robustesse, par rapport aux matériaux composites à base de carbone préparés en utilisant une fibre de carbone classique à base de polyacrylonitrile, une fibre de carbone à base de brai ou autre. Par ailleurs, le matériau composite à base de carbone décrit est respectueux de l'environnement et offre de faibles coûts de production par rapport aux matériaux composites à base de carbone comprenant une fibre de carbone classique à base de viscose produite en utilisant un solvant à base de disulfure de carbone hautement toxique.
