Abstract
Description
Technical Field The present invention relates in particular to a device for the treatment of liquid effluents comprising a main enclosure containing a degradation matrix, an effluent inlet flowing into a bucket placed horizontally in the upper part of said main enclosure, a placed opening in the lower part of said main enclosure and communicating to the outside of said main enclosure characterized in that said bucket is tilting. PRIOR ART Wastewater treatment can be carried out collectively or individually. Collective treatment in treatment plants is increasingly used. However, this solution is not always possible because of the distance 20 between the place of production of wastewater and the nearest wastewater treatment plant. Similarly, the construction of collective treatment plants is not justified in sparsely populated areas. When the connection to a treatment plant is not possible or profitable, individual (or multiple individual) solutions are set up in the form of septic tanks (also called all-water pits) in which the solids are decanted. then liquefied by endogenous bacteria. The liquid content of the pit then migrates to a spreading field. This traditional solution is however not optimal because only a minority portion of the pollution can be treated in the enclosure of the pit. The remaining pollution NEROP5-EN-1_TEXT DEPOSE_SO / GE - 2 is treated by the ground and rejoins the water table if this treatment is not effective. As a result, methods have been developed to improve the treatment of pollutants indoors, or in addition to the all-water pit. This improvement can go through the modification of several parameters. Among these we can mention the mixing of wastewater, the oxygenation of the pit all waters and the introduction of exogenous bacteria specially selected for their ability to degrade pollutants. Another way of improvement has been to introduce into the pit all waters a substrate to create a medium on which bacteria can be fixed and multiply. Among the substrates used, mention may in particular be made of coconut fiber. Thus, the application EP1539325 discloses a pit all waters in which is included a bed of coconut fiber which are introduced wastewater via spray nozzles. The use of spray nozzles has many disadvantages related to the clogging of the nozzles by the solid elements present in the wastewater. These problems require regular and expensive maintenance inside the pit. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a novel method of distributing wastewater to the surface of substrate beds present in wastewater treatment pits. The present invention proposes an open, entirely mechanical mode of distribution of wastewater that does not require external energy input or external maintenance. Thus, the present invention relates to a device for the treatment of liquid effluents comprising a main enclosure containing a degradation matrix, an effluent inlet flowing into a bucket placed horizontally in the upper part of the body. said main enclosure, an opening placed in the lower part of said main enclosure and communicating outwardly of said main enclosure remarkable in that said bucket is tilting.
By the term "tipping bucket" is meant a device well known to those skilled in the art consisting of a container mounted tilting relative to the rest of the device. Traditionally, said tilting is induced by the weight of the liquid included in said container and causes its emptying. Once empty, the container returns to its initial position and can be filled again until it contains a critical mass of liquid which induces a new tilting. The return to the initial position can be induced by a counterweight advantageously placed in one of the walls of said container. In the context of the present invention, the applicant has developed a new type of tipping bucket. Thus, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the tipping bucket is a tray, comprising two compartments of substantially equal volumes, pivotally mounted along an axis passing in the plane of symmetry of said tray. According to an even more preferred embodiment, said tilting bucket has a V-shaped cross-section and comprises a partition delimiting said two compartments, passing through the median plane of said V. It is thus understood that the two compartments of said tray will fill up. and empty alternately. One of the two compartments being in the emptying position while the other is in the filling position vis-à-vis the said effluent inlet NEROP5-FR-1_TEXTE DEPOSE_SO / GE - 4 -. The skilled person is able to design said tipping bucket according to the amount of liquid he wants to be deposited on the surface of the natural fibers during each cycle.
