The present invention relates to a vehicle seatback frame and a seat comprising such a frame. In order to improve the performance of motor vehicles that is to say consumption, mass, pollution, power, comfort, studies are conducted to improve the vehicles as a whole. Especially in the cockpit where the seats are subject to ever more demanding constraints such as safety, ergonomics, design, comfort, mass, price. Therefore, reducing the mass of the constituent elements of a vehicle is a constant concern of the manufacturers. It has been found that in today's vehicles, the seats are often oversized resulting in unnecessary and expensive overweight. In the state of the art, we know the document FR297775 which proposes a seat comprising a metal frame, a one-piece support piece made of plastic material molded to fill the backrest and a receiving tray of a cousin of sitting to garnish the metal frame of the seat. This seat has a rigid and common rigid frame for the backrest and the seat, which implies that the backrest does not have adjustment means relative to the seat. The metal frame is covered by a plastic shell, engaged on the top of the frame, so that a support towards the rear of the hull can cause a displacement towards the front of the upper part of the hull by rotation and is likely to move by rotation of the upper part. The rotation is made possible by the nature of the material employed having a certain flexibility. The purpose of this seat is, in case of collision of the vehicle followed by a projection of the passenger against the back support portion, the portion of the headrest is brought forward to minimize the risk of cervical injuries for the passenger. The design of this seat does not and does not aim to provide a seat with significant lightening while ensuring an impeccable mechanical strength, especially in case of side impact. The object of the present invention is to provide a lightweight seat back having a robustness, impeccable mechanical resistance effectively resistant to shocks and good perceived quality. To this end, the subject of the present invention is a vehicle seat back frame comprising a vehicle seat back frame comprising a plastic holding element, a metal structure and a plastic shell characterized in that the metal structure is sandwiched between the holding element and the shell to ensure good cohesion of the folder while reducing its mass. According to another characteristic, the holding element reproduces the curved shape of the seat back and at a reduced thickness. According to another advantageous characteristic, the holding element comprises at least six wells for receiving the screwing elements.
