Abstract

The vehicle (10) has a passenger compartment (12) including a front part (14) and a rear part (16) separated by an arch (18). A line of back seats (33) includes a bench that is provided with a base (34) and a file (36) articulated in swivelling around transverse axes. Description

The invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising stowable cover elements. The invention more particularly relates to a motor vehicle whose arrangement is adjustable between: a first configuration of the "seat row" type defined by a passenger compartment comprising from front to rear at least a front portion and a rear portion separated by a hoop, - said front part comprising at least one windshield bay and a front row of seats, - said rear part comprising at least one "dump" compartment bounded by a flat floor and side and rear bodywork elements which extend upwards to a common waistbelt, - a second "two-row seat" configuration in which the tipper-type compartment comprises at least one row of rear seats arranged rearwardly of the seat. hoop, said row of rear seats comprising a bench having at least one seat and a back hinged pivotally about transverse axes, said vehicle it comprises at least one rigid removable cover element of the front row of seats, at least one rigid removable cover element of the row of rear seats, and / or a rigid removable body cover element. Numerous examples of automotive vehicles configurable in one or two row configurations of seats, either discovered or partially discovered, are known. These are essentially vehicles for which the elements able to protect the front seats can be rigid but in which the elements able to protect the rear seats are at best made of a soft top. There are some examples of vehicles with rigid removable structures, but these structures can not be loaded with the vehicle, so that the vehicle can not be covered in case of rain if it has been previously discovered. The invention advantageously makes it possible to propose an arrangement of the aforementioned type comprising rigid removable elements that can be stored in the vehicle.

For this purpose, the invention proposes a vehicle of the type described above, characterized in that each rigid cover element is likely to occupy a position of use and at least one storage position in the vehicle. In the following description, like reference numerals denote like parts or having similar functions. There is shown in the figures a motor vehicle 10 made according to the invention. In known manner, the motor vehicle 10 is adjustable between a first configuration of "a row of seats", as shown for example in Figures 1 to 3, and a second configuration of "two rows of seats", as shown for example in Figures 5 to 8. The first configuration of type "a row of seats" is defined by a passenger compartment 12 comprising from front to back, that is to say from left to right of the figures, at least a front portion 14 and a rear portion 16 separated by a bow 18. The front portion 14 comprises in particular at least one windshield bay 20 and a front row of seats 22. In a similar manner, the rear portion 16 as to it comprises at least one bucket type compartment 24 delimited by a flat floor 26 (Figure 3) and side bodywork elements 28 and rear 30 which extend upwardly to a common belt belt 32. In this configuration of "one row of seats", the rear portion 16 is devoid of rear seats.

The second configuration of the "two rows of seats" type comprises at least one row of rear seats 33 essentially comprising a rear seat disposed rearwardly of the bow 18 in the compartment 24 of the tipper type. In known manner, the seat comprises at least one seat 34 pivotally articulated about a transverse axis "A", and a backrest 36 pivotally articulated about a transverse axis "B", as shown in FIG. 4, 6 and 8.

The pivoting of the seat 34 and backrest 36 of the bench 33 allow in particular the transition from the configuration of type "a row of seats" to the configuration type "two rows of seats".

Furthermore, the vehicle 10 comprises in known manner at least one rigid element 40, 42 removable cover of the row of front seats, at least one rigid element 44, 46, 48 cover of the row of rear seats, and at least a removable rigid element 50, 52 covering the bucket 24.

In accordance with the invention, each cover element 40, 42, 44, 48, 50, 52 is generally capable of occupying a position of use and at least one storage position in the vehicle. Hereinafter, the various positioning possibilities of the covering elements 40, 42, 44, 48, 50, 52 will be described in greater detail below. The motor vehicle 10 comprises first and second rigid elements 40, 42 comprising removable roof cover of the row 22 of front seats 20 respectively comprising edges 41, 43 adapted to be carried by a longitudinal support beam 45, shown for example in Figure 5, to cover the row 22 of front seats, as shown for example in Figures 1 and 7. Finally, the vehicle 10 comprises a sixth element 50, 52 rigid cover bucket and removable glazing which comprises in particular a shelf 50 adapted to extend between the rear end of the removable stretchers 44, 46 and a rear end 25 of the bucket 24, and a removable glass window 52, hinged relative to the tablet 50, which can be received under the roof 48 between the shafts 44, 46. The bezel 52 is further mounted pivotally between a vertical position in which it closes the space defined by the shafts 44, 46 and a horizontal opening position in which it is adapted to rest on the shelf 50, as shown in dashed lines in Figure 8. According to the invention, the shafts 44 , 46 can be received in their storage position in lateral housings 47 formed in the body side members 28 of the body 24, and in particular immediately behind the row 22 front seats. This configuration has been shown in particular in Figures 4 and 6, which represent the stretcher 46 received in the complementary housing 47 Furthermore, in accordance with the invention, the seat is able to occupy at least one position in which its seat 36 and seat 34 delimit, with the flat floor 26 of the bucket 24, a storage space for at least one of the removable cover elements 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52. Thus, the first and second elements 40, 42 comprising removable roof panels of the front row of seats 22 are movable between a use position shown in Figures 1, 3, 7, and 8, in which they extend between the windshield bay 20 and the arch 18, their edges 41, 43, shown in Figure 1, being borne by the longitudinal support beam 45 as shown in Figure 2, and a storage position shown in Figures 3 and 6, in which they rest at background of the bucket 24 in a storage space 23 delimited longitudinally in part by the backrest 36 of the seat, either in its horizontal position in FIG. 4 or in its vertical position in FIG. 6. In a similar manner, the fifth element 48, forming a removable roof for covering the row 33 of rear seats materialized by the seat, is movable between a position of use shown in particular in Figures 7 and 8, wherein it is received between the removable stretchers 44 and 46 , and at least one storage position. In particular, the fifth element 48 can occupy a first storage position, shown in Figures 4, 5 and 6 in which it extends horizontally in the extension of an upper end of the vertical backrest 36 of the bench until the rear end 25 of the bucket 24 covering said bucket 24.

The fifth element 48 is also able to occupy a second storage position, shown in Figure 3, in which it extends vertically between the front row of seats 22 and the seat 34 of the bench folded here in a vertical position. The sixth element 50, 52 covering the bucket 24 and removable glazing comprises a shelf 50 and a bezel 52 hinged relative to the shelf 50. This sixth element can therefore occupy a position of use shown in Figure 7, in which the shelf 50 extends longitudinally between the removable stretchers 44, 46 and the rear end 25 of the bucket 24 and wherein the linked rear window 52 is selectively pivotable between the shafts 44, 46 in a vertical position to close the stretchers 44, 46 or in a horizontal position to rest on said shelf 50.

This sixth element 50, 52 can thus also occupy a storage position in which the telescope 52 is folded under the tablet 50 and in which the sixth element 50, 52 extends above the bottom 26 of the bucket 24 behind the backrest. 36 of the bench, in a vertical position (Figure 6) or horizontal (Figure 4) to form a false floor 54 of the bucket 24 closing the storage space 23, as shown in Figures 1 to 3, 4 and 6. Advantageously, the bench occupying part of the bucket 24, a back of the backrest 36 of the bench may have a suitable coating, in the horizontal position of the backrest 36, to extend the raised floor 54 consisting of the sixth element 50, 52 occupying its position storage. In this way, the entire body 24 has a flat appearance, the back of the backrest 36 of the bench extending the raised floor 54. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, as illustrated in particular in Figure 7 each stretcher 44, 46 has substantially the shape of a bracket with a vertical upright 58, 60 which has a lower end 62, 64 adapted to be fixed on the waist belt 32, and a horizontal spar 66, 68 which comprises a front end 70, 72 adapted to be fixed on the transverse end 19 of the arch 18. The square shape of each stretcher 44, 46 and allows to define at the rear seat a cell adapted to receive the passengers of the vehicle. In this way, the different storage or use possibilities make it possible to determine several possibilities of use of the vehicle. As illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the vehicle 10 may occupy a first configuration "to a row of seats". According to a first variant of this first configuration which has been shown in FIG. 1, the vehicle 10 can see its front row of seats 22 covered. The bucket 24 has a bottom consisting of the false floor 54 and the back of the backrest 36. According to a second variant of this first configuration which has been shown in Figures 2 and 3, the vehicle 10 can see its front seat row 22 discovered. The bucket 24 has a bottom consisting of the false floor 54 and the back of the backrest 36. The roofs 40, 42 are then concealed under the raised floor 54 in the storage space 23. According to a third variant of this first configuration which has been shown in Figure 4, the vehicle 10 can see its front seat row 22 discovered or covered. The bucket 24 has a bottom consisting of the false floor 54 and the back of the backrest 36, while being covered with the roof 48. The roofs 40, 42 are still concealed under the raised floor 54 in the storage space 23. configuration allows for example to protect the back of the bucket 24 of the weather. As illustrated in FIGS. 5 to 8, the vehicle 10 can occupy a second configuration "with two rows of seats". According to a first variant of this second configuration which has been shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the vehicle 10 can see its front seat row 22 uncovered, the rear seat uncovered and the skip 24 covered by the roof 48. The skip 24 comprises a bottom consisting only of the false floor 54 while being covered with the roof 48. The roofs 40, 42 are always disassembled and concealed under the raised floor 54 in the storage space 23.

According to a second variant of this second configuration which has been shown in Figures 7 and 8, the vehicle can see its front seat row 22 covered, the rear seat covered by the roof 48 resting on the stretchers 44, 46, and the bucket 24 covered by the shelf 50, the bezel 52 is optionally closed or folded horizontally on the shelf 50. The bucket 24 is empty. The invention thus makes it possible to propose a modular vehicle according to many configurations, all the removable elements of which can be embarked during its displacement, this making it possible to discover or cover the vehicle at will, even in the event of bad weather.
