L'installation (101) de production d'eau chaude pour un logement (100) comprend un réseau d'extraction d'air (106) associé au logement (100) pour extraire de l'air depuis le logement (100) vers l'extérieur du logement, le réseau d'extraction d'air (106) étant adapté à amener au moins une partie de l'air extrait à travers des moyens (112, 116) d'échange de chaleur avec de l'eau à chauffer, un conduit d'insufflation d'air dans le logement (124), piqué sur le réseau d'extraction d'air (106), en aval des moyens d'échange de chaleur (112, 116) et des moyens de direction (110, 128) pour sélectivement diriger de l'air extrait traversant les moyens d'échange de chaleur (112, 116), vers le conduit d'insufflation d'air (124) et/ou vers l'extérieur du logement.
