Abstract

TECHNICAL FIELD TO WHICH THE INVENTION RELATES The present invention relates generally to the field of packaging for a product to be packaged. It relates more particularly to a package for a product to be packaged, comprising: - a plate, - a cover which at least partially covers a front face of said plate, so that it delimits with the plate a housing adapted to contain at least a part of the product to be packaged, and - means for maintaining said product in said housing. The invention finds a particularly advantageous application for the packaging of products intended for large-scale distribution. TECHNOLOGICAL BACKGROUND Packaging suitable for electrical equipment using a heat-shrink film or a plastic bag is already known. Many documents describe packages as described above. In these packages the product is enclosed between the lid and the plate. It is held inside the housing either by mounting means provided in the cover, or by the pressure exerted between the cover and the plate on the product. This type of packaging consumes a large amount of material. It is therefore expensive. In addition, often these packages can not be disassembled without being destroyed.
