Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a dual-function device: -detection and warning (alarm) of the presence of smoke and / or hazardous gas (CO2, CO) in a housing; -lighting a room with an energy saving light bulb. It has a power supply (battery) backup. The device consists of a compact block containing both functions. The power of these devices is traditionally made with disposable or rechargeable batteries, which pollutes or requires special vigilance on the part of the user. Furthermore, these devices are only designed for detection and warning and therefore, are installed in addition to lighting devices. These facilities are therefore not appreciable from an aesthetic and ecological point of view. In addition to independent and autonomous detectors specific to only one type of gas or smoke, the future detector introduces a complete detection of potentially toxic gases in the housing. At the technical aspect is introduced an aesthetic aspect (a design) and an economic lighting. It has a range of smoke detectors, with audible alarm type decibel (dB). The detection function offers a range depending on the type of smoke (black and white smoke) and spreading inside a room. The range adapts according to the type of room. The attached drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents the device of the invention in left view, outside face and right view. Figure 2 shows an inner section and inner plane of electronic distribution, a variant of this device. With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a non-flammable PVC base (1) or a biodegradable material (example: biodegradable corn plastic) covered by a non-flammable PVC cover (2) or a biodegradable material (example: plastic in biodegradable maize). It has a diameter of 30 cm, by way of non-limiting example. The outer surface of the hood is constituted in its center, an orifice (4) surrounded by ventilation grids (3). These grids allow, on the one hand, the absorption of possible toxic fumes and gases (CO2, CO) and, on the other hand, the ventilation of the electronic systems (8). The orifice is adjustable in diameter depending on the type of bulb (energy saving) used.
According to FIG. 2, the energy-saving lamp is located inside a PVC cylinder (5) physically and thermally insulated from the electronic systems carrying the (optical) sensors (6) in order to avoid overheating. these latter. It is controlled by a switch that will turn it off or on when needed. The bulb is screwed on a base (female) type E27 or GU10 (7). The electronic box that governs the entire system is placed inside the base. The emergency lighting system (9) is connected to the backup battery. The said emergency lighting system is composed of one or more LEDs. The attachment of the cover (2) to the base (1) is achieved by a quarter-turn fastening system with a stopper and a safety screw. When this system is in the closed position, the pedestal sensors face the hood ventilation grilles. The base is fixed to the ceiling with 4 screws. The device will be powered by a sector (220V) directly from the electrical panel. It has a backup battery ensuring its power supply in case of power failure (1/2 hour). It will supply only the electronic circuits concerning the detection and audible warning, as well as the LED (9) of the emergency lighting system. A specific tone type (buzzer) is assigned to each sensor. The weakening of the battery will also be warned by a light (11) and a sound tone different from those of the sensors. Each sensor also has its "test button" (10) which makes it possible to check whether the buzzer is working. The number of sensors can vary according to the needs of the user. An RJ45 output (12) is integrated in the device to connect the detector to a modem to warn the user, in his absence, the presence of toxic gases or fumes by electronic message ("texting" or e-mail).
The device applies to residential premises and industrial premises or workspaces, for the safety of persons.
