L'utilisation d'un textile comme matériau de remplissage apporte de nombreux avantages. Parmi ceux-ci, elle allège le module de toiture en remplaçant un panneau rigide ou semi-rigide en polycarbonate alvéolé ou non par un textile tout en assurant les fonctions de barrière physique entre l'extérieur et l'intérieur du bassin.
