Abstract

Device for displaying plant fragments, such as those of a potpourri, comprising a container containing the fragments and a transparent outer package containing the container. The field of the invention is that of the design and manufacture of decorative objects for the home. More specifically, the invention relates to an environment device of plant fragments forming in particular a potpourri, designed for both traders and end users. "Potpourri" is a mixture of dried flowers (usually only their petals) or any other plant fragments intended to release a fragrance, whether natural or artificial. The invention thus relates to a device for presenting a potpourri consisting of plant fragments, or consisting of similar fragments, the latter being able to take the form of textured pieces simulating the vegetable appearance and on which a perfume is deposited to obtain a olfactory atmosphere. In the first case, that is to say when the potpourri is presented in the open air in an open container, the potpourri is certainly highlighted for the consumer but has a disadvantage for the trader in terms manipulation. The invention also aims to provide such a device whose functional and aesthetic attractions are advantageous for both the trader in his shop and the end user in his home.

These objectives, as well as others which will appear later, are achieved thanks to the invention which relates to a device for presenting plant fragments or the like capable of giving off a fragrance, comprising a container in which said fragments are stored, characterized in that it comprises a transparent outer packaging having an inner wall extending between a lid and a bottom and containing said container, the inner wall of the package leaving with the outer wall of the container at least one contact line s extending over 360 ° and below which the outer packaging and the container form between them an empty space of plant fragments. Such a solution confers on the presentation device numerous advantages, among which: developing the attractiveness of the product in the store by allowing the customers of the store in which the product is marketed to easily see the container and its contents; - allow the merchant to handle, store and display the devices on the shelf easily and quickly; - allow stacking of products; - Offer containers with complex and / or original geometries, this by presenting them stably in their packaging. Note that the easy and fast handling of the device according to the invention is authorized by the presence of the contact line extending over 360 °, between the container and the outer packaging, which ensures that none of the plant fragments or similar passes this line of contact and does not reach the space between the package and the container under the line of contact (space intended to be empty of plant fragments). Indeed, if the plant fragments or the like pour out of the container following a wrong handling and / or a fall of the device, it is possible to replace, easily and quickly, all the fragments in the container, this by replacing vertically the device. The fragments then return to the container, because of the impossibility of passing the side thereof, between the container wall and the inner wall of the package, due to the presence of the contact line. It should also be noted that the fact that the containers and their contents are presented in an outer packaging makes it possible to store potpourris giving off different fragrances while avoiding the diffusion of these fragrances (which could prove to be too strong and / or more or less pleasant when mixed) inside the store. According to a particular embodiment, said container has a horn shape, preferably consisting of a folded sheet. Such a shape gives the container an original aesthetic character. The folded sheet constituting the cone shape of the container may be made of any material that can be envisaged, in particular in a more or less flexible plastic material, possibly transparent.

According to an advantageous solution, said container is mounted on a base resting on said bottom. In this way, the container is stably held in the outer package. In this case, at least one rod extends vertically from said base, the horn-shaped vessel having at least one orifice forming a passage for said rod. This provides a simple and inexpensive solution for mounting the container on the base. According to a particular embodiment, said packaging is essentially cylindrical. According to a first conceivable variant, said cover is removable. It is then enough for the end user to remove the lid for the potpourri to diffuse its fragrances. According to a second possible variant, the bottom and the cover each have two opposite lugs laterally and for each of a slot, the device comprising a band passing through said slots of the cover and the bottom so as to surround the device. In this case, the end user can easily and quickly disassemble the outer package and separate it from the container (and its contents) mounted on its base.

With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, a device for presenting plant fragments or the like according to a first embodiment is described. As shown in these figures, a display device comprises: - a container 1 and plant fragments (or similar) capable of releasing a fragrance, these fragments being stored in the container 1; a transparent outer packaging 2, containing the container 1. The container 1 and the outer packaging 2 have shapes and dimensions provided so as to obtain a cooperation of the container with the inner wall 20 of the outer package (this wall extending between a cover 21 and a bottom 22). Thus, according to the principle of the invention, the inner wall of the outer packaging with the outer wall of the container 1 provides a contact line 100, shown in dashed lines (FIGS. 1 and 2) extending over 360 ° and separating two inner parts of the presentation device, namely: - an upper part 200 extending between the cover 21 and the contact line 100, the opening of the container 1 extending consequently in this upper part 200; a space 201, empty of plant fragments, extending under the line of contact 100, to the bottom level, almost, according to the present embodiment. According to another conceivable embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 11 to 13, the closure of the outer packaging is ensured by the combination of the following elements: a lid 21; a base 23, intended to be disposed under the base 3; a strip 24 for holding the lid 21 on the outer package.

According to this embodiment, the cover 21 and the base 23 take the form of the part illustrated by FIG. 13. As it appears, this part consists of a cut of a sheet of a more or less rigid material, having two laterally opposed tabs 210, 230, each having a slot 211, 231. The dimensions of these slots are provided to allow passage of the web 24.

The strip 24 has a length such that it can surround the presentation device according to the present embodiment, this by passing through the slots 231 of the base 23 and the slots 211 of the cover 21, thus surrounding the device so as to hold the cover 21 on the outer packaging of the device.
