Polymère, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte pour 100% molaire : a) De 0,1% molaire à 100% molaire d'unités monomériques (A) issues du N,N-diméthyl acrylamide ; b) Optionnellement de 0,1% molaire à 99,9% molaire d'unités monomériques (B) issues d'au moins un monomère neutre choisi parmi l'acrylamide, le N-méthyl acrylamide, le N-éthyl acrylamide, le méthacrylamide, le N-isopropyl acrylamide, le N-[2-hydroxy 1,1-bis(hydroxyméthyl) éthyl] propènamide ; c) Optionnellement jusqu'à 20% molaire d'unités monomériques (C), issues d'au moins un monomère comportant une ou plusieurs fonctions acides partiellement ou totalement salifiées.
