Abstract

L'invention concerne une plateforme (1) standardisée, équipée de deux poutres (11, 11') transversales à son extrémité avant et à son extrémité arrière. Les poutres transversales s'étendent au delà des bords latéraux de la plateforme, de sorte que les extrémités de ces poutres peuvent recevoir des élingues (24a-24d) permettant l'arrimage de l'ensemble à des moyens de levage et de manutention de conteneurs. Il est ainsi possible de transporter sur une plateforme (1) standardisée une marchandise (21) à la fois plus large et plus longue que cette plateforme (1). La marchandise peut ainsi être manutentionnée et chargée avec des moyens de levage et de manutention pour conteneurs, c'est-à-dire pour un coût réduit par rapport au transport hors gabarit.
