La présente invention vise à remédier à ces inconvénients et consiste pour cela en un dispositif de préparation d'une surface destinée à recevoir un élément du type vitrage équipant un véhicule, ledit dispositif comprenant des moyens stockage d'un liquide dégraissant et des moyens d'application dudit liquide dégraissant sur la surface à préparer, et étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des moyens de séchage. Le placement des moyens d'application du liquide dégraissant et des moyens de séchage sur le même dispositif permet ainsi d'effectuer la préparation de la surface en une seule étape. En effet, ceci permet, en évitant à l'opérateur d'effectuer le deuxième passage pour le séchage, d'atteindre un gain substantiel de productivité. Avantageusement, les moyens de séchage comprennent au moins un organe d'essuyage conçu de manière à essuyer la surface à préparer.
