Numerous gearshift devices are known comprising a drive unit, an actuating finger moving the axis of a control fork of a synchronization and coupling device, comprising a coupler operating by adhesion (that is, to say: without clutching an idle gear by a player), and between this drive unit and this finger, elastic coupling means that ensure a certain progressivity of the rise of the force applied to the coupler. The publication, FR 2 913 475 describes a shift actuator, in which the elastic coupling means consist of two flanges and several curved springs, mounted in toric housings, which deform in torsion as a function of the force which is transmitted to them by a motor unit. The quality of the gearshift, for an automated gearbox, is based on compliance with the friction torque given by the couplers in order to synchronize the idle gears with a shaft of the gearbox. More precisely, it depends on the setpoint and the dynamic of rise of the friction torque towards the latter during synchronization. To control the friction torque delivered by couplers, it is possible to control, by a computer of the gearbox, the value of the force applied by the power unit. A coupler theoretically delivers a friction torque, for synchronization, proportional to the value of the force transmitted to it by the control finger via the elastic coupling means. This type of steering is disturbed by the internal friction of the curved springs in their toric housings. This friction leads to an operating hysteresis which leads to a loss of precision of the force applied to the coupler, especially when this effort is low. In order to overcome the inaccuracies due to this hysteresis, an alternative solution consists in controlling the actuator in displacement, and not in effort, thanks to means for measuring angular deformation. The stiffness of the elastic coupling means being known, a gearbox calculator translates the deformation thereof into a force applied to the control finger. The force applied to the coupler is thus known. This driving principle is not suitable for an arrangement of toric springs as described by the publication FR 2 913 475.
After contacting the friction faces of the coupling device, the apparent stiffness of the fork, seen by the actuating finger, is very high, and very small angular deformations result in significant stress variations. The climb in effort is too brutal to control the synchronization.
The invention aims to remedy the lack of precision in controlling the couplers by known gearshift actuators. It proposes to introduce flexible coupling means sufficiently flexible inside the gearbox. It proposes a fork comprising, between a control shaft and a body, a pre-loaded spring interposed in the kinematic chain 20 serving to apply the force on couplers. Preferably, a particular assembly of the spring makes it possible to compress the spring in two opposite directions of displacement of the fork, up to two extreme positions located on either side of a neutral position, so as to be able to put the spring into action. one or the other of two couplers arranged on either side of the range. In neutral position, the axis exerts no effort on the body of the fork. The spring is not compressed more than the pre-load installed during assembly. The two couplers located on either side of the range are at rest. In contrast, in one or the other of the extreme positions, the axis exerts a force sufficient to compress the spring and to move the body of the fork towards a coupler, then to maintain the force exerted on the coupler during the rolling of the vehicle, on gear engaged.
Other features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent upon reading the following description of a non-limiting embodiment thereof, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. the fork according to the invention in the neutral position; FIG. 1A represents a magnified detail of FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 represents an axial view of the fork in one of its two extreme positions. With reference to FIGS. 1, 1A and 2, the fork 1 according to the invention comprises a body 2 of fork slidably mounted on a fork control shaft 3. The axis 3 is controlled in translation during the shift and coupled to the body 2 to which it transmits its translational movement through elastic coupling means. The control shaft 3 consists, in its central part, of a cylindrical rod 20 slidably mounted at its ends on the mechanism housing 4 of the gearbox (not shown) by two bearings 5 and 6. The axle 3 is equipped at its periphery with a control dog 7, the end 8 is recessed and cooperates with a control finger 9 to move in translation the control shaft 3. The control finger 9 is moved in rotation by an electromechanical actuator, and it is equipped with a means of measuring its angular displacement (not shown) which allows the control system of the box to drive the value. The body 2 fork is in its central part in a tubular form. At both ends, it is slidably mounted on the control spindle 3 via two bearings 10 and 11. Between the two ends of the tube, a recess 12 has been provided for installing a spring 13. This spring 13 is wound around the control pin 3. It is mounted pre-loaded between two walls 14 and 15 of the recess 12, sandwiched between two bearing washers 16 and 17 at its two ends. These washers rest on two pins 18 and 19 integral with the control pin 3, which slide axially in two slots 20 and 21 (visible in Figure 2) made on the body 2. At its lower part in the figures, the fork body 2 cooperates with a ball bearing 22. The inner ring 23 of this bearing 22 allows the fork 1 to transmit a translation movement and a force to the left, to the outer ring 24 of a coupler 25 integral in rotation with a shaft 26 of the gearbox. The inner ring 23 of the bearing 22 makes it possible, in the same way, to transmit the movement in translation and the force to the right of the fork 1 to another coupler which is symmetrical to the coupler 25 with respect to the axis XX 'of the figures. , and not shown here. In a nonlimiting manner, the coupler 25 described in the figures is a self-assisted conical coupler consisting of several conical rings which allow a coupling without clutching between the shaft 26 of the box and an idle gear (not shown), by transformation of the axial force, received from the fork body 2, in synchronization torque. It further comprises a means for restoring the coupler by an elastic spacing means 27. In the embodiment described, the spring 13 may advantageously be designed with a stiffness greater than that of the elastic spacing means 27. In summary, the fork 1 according to the invention comprises, between a control shaft 3 and a body 2, elastic coupling means, for example a spring 13, which, by being deformed, make it possible to transmit a progressive force 2956178 -5- and controllable necessary for synchronization, from the axis 3 to the body 2, then to a coupler 25 by means of a bearing 22. The operating mode of the fork according to the invention may be the following: 5 In neutral position as shown in FIG. 1, the control finger 9 exerts no axial force on the axis 3. It has a running clearance J1 with the clutch 7. The fork body 2 is held in a position of equilibrium on axis 3 by the inte the spring 13 preloaded. The bearing 22 exerts no axial thrust on the coupler 25 with which it has an operating clearance J2. When, in view of a change of speed, the control finger 9 is rotated in the clockwise direction in the figures, the axis 3 is pushed to the left. In a first phase, the rotation of the finger cancels the operating clearance J1, then drives the axis 3 and the body 2 of the fork to cancel the operating clearance J2. During this phase, the relative position between the axis 3 and the body 2 is unchanged. In a second phase, the elastic spacing means 27 is gradually compressed, and the conical rings of the coupler 25 are brought into contact with each other to reach a position, called licking position, of the beginning of transmission of the torque between the tree and a crazy gear. However, the spring 13 is not compressed, in that its stiffness has been chosen to be greater than that of the elastic spacing means 27. The relative position between the axis 3 and the body remains unchanged.
Then, in a third phase, called locking, the body 2 is in abutment on the left on the outer ring 24 of the coupler 25, while the translational movement to the left of the axis 3 continues. This movement has the effect of transmitting to the support washer 17 an axial force via the pin 19. As shown in Figure 2, the washer 17 leaves the wall 15, and 2956178 -6- gradually compresses the spring 13 until the pin 19 reaches the maximum left stop of the light 21, while the washer 16 remains pressed against the wall 14. The spring is then pressed a maximum value Axi. According to the stiffness of the spring 13, a force is transmitted, via the inner ring 23 of the bearing 22, to the coupling device 25, which guarantees its locking. Due to a design symmetry of the means of synchronization and coupling with respect to the axis XX ', the operating mode of the range is identical when the axis 3 is moved to the right.
The fork 1 according to the invention has many advantages: it is equipped with a spring 13, whose progressive compression during the travel of the control pin 3 driven in displacement between the neutral position and the one or the Another of the two extreme positions provides good progressivity to shifting and improves drivability.
It is used identically, that is to say, bilaterally, to pass two speeds on the same line.
