The invention relates to a device for applying a product, such as a cleaning product, especially for polishing and polishing leather shoes. The old method of shoe polishing, consisting in applying a polish to the leather, spreading it over all or part of the shoe surface by means of a cloth, then polishing the shoe with another fabric, has given way to modern methods using combined waxing and polishing devices, which are better suited to itinerant polishing because they are less messy, less bulky and even, for the most part, disposable. An example of a combined waxing and polishing device is described in the French patent application No. FR 2 924 323 (or in the equivalent international application No. WO 2009/098407) in the name of the applicant.
