Abstract
The device (1) has a drive shaft, in first version, comprising a friction roller (8) located radially between inner and outer drums (2, 4) arranged along a common axis. The drive shaft, in second version, is connected to inner and outer pressure rollers located radially on both sides of a single drum. The friction roller or the pressure rollers oscillates radially along a small course to apply the friction roller alternately on one of the inner and outer drums in the first version or to apply one of the pressure rollers on a face of the single drum in the second version. The drive shaft is rotated in a direction or another direction for tensioning/untensioning a spring e.g. torsion bar spring (6), to store/reproduce mechanical energy. The drums are rotatably connected to a wheel of a vehicle.
