Abstract

The device has an electronic control circuit i.e. micro controller (2), associated to a reading head formed of a contactor (7) and alternative conductive and insulating sheets (6). The circuit transmits a sensory signal e.g. sound signal, according to the resistance of a zone on which the reading head is applied. A meter (8) is automatically incremented according to time, and another meter (9) is incremented according to closing duration of the contactor, where the former meter is a register connected to a time base.

Description

The present invention relates to a new set for checking information, which may constitute a game or a teaching medium. In French patents FR2597211, FR2578328 and FR2597212, autonomous detector devices have been described intended to cooperate with electrically conductive zones. These detectors incorporate control electronics for generating a sensory signal (sound and / or visual) depending on the presence or absence of conductive areas. These systems only allow, on the one hand, to detect binary information type all or nothing depending on the presence or absence of electrically conductive areas. These systems also do not offer a more complex game flow frame, including in particular a temporal parameter in the scenario. The present invention overcomes these disadvantages. It aims at a system of the type in question with support and autonomous detector, wherein the detector integrates two time counters to substantially enrich the complexity of the scenario proposed by the information medium. This autonomous detector device, intended to cooperate with electrically conductive or insulating areas of a support, comprising a housing, a read head, a light-emitting diode, a buzzer, an electronic control circuit associated with the read head, adapted to transmit a signal according to the resistance of the zone on which this reading head is applied, and two counters is characterized in that the first counter is incremented automatically as a function of time and the second counter is incremented in depending on the duration of the closing of the switch (7).

Advantageously, the support consists of a sheet of paper and the identification areas are printed by means of a conductive ink, whose resistivity is different depending on the nature of the areas. For a determined detector, the identification areas of the support are divided into at least two distinct main families: a first family whose printed surfaces have a low resistivity, a second fault whose printed surfaces have a high resistivity, control electronics having means capable of differentiating the two resistivities. The operation of the read head can be described as follows: Switch (7) 0 0 1 1 Zebra (6) 0 1 0 1 c o o ~ o 0 n. Contactor (7) = 0: no support Contactor (7) = 1: Zebra support (6) = 0: insulating ink (false answer) Zebra (6) = 1: conductive ink (correct answer) 20 Action Wrong answer: sad jingle and / or display of a message LOST, for example, Action Good answer: gay jingle and / or display of a message GAGNE. The manner in which the invention can be realized and the advantages which derive therefrom will emerge more clearly from the exemplary embodiment which follows, given for information only and non-limitingly, in support of the figures of the appended figures. Figure 1 is a functional representation of the detector. With reference to FIG. 1, the autonomous device essentially comprises a body (1) whose shape is suitable for good grip, an LCD screen, for example (3), a piezoelectric sound transducer (4). ) and a read head formed of a contactor (7) and a stack of alternately conductive and insulating sheets (6). The micro controller of the detector (2) will be responsible for driving the LED display, the buzzer and read the information provided by the read head. The various operating scenarios of the device that can be processed by the detector are either fixed in the microcontroller (2), or authorized or predetermined, during the manufacture of said detector. The important feature of this invention is to enrich the various scenarios proposed in the information medium. So far, the scenarios are only binary, that is to say that they can only manage: - Detection of a conductive ink: good answer, ù Detection of an insulating ink: wrong answer. In the context of the present invention, the detection of a conductive or insulating ink will have a particular significance. Also, a long press on the conductive ink or the insulating ink will induce a specific characteristic of the scenario. We therefore use two distinct temporal notions: at what moment in the course of time, at the duration of the support, to give a different meaning and combined with the conductive ink and the insulating ink. In addition, the value of the counter (8) can advantageously be used as an index in the timeline of the scenario.

Some examples of possible scenarios are given to illustrate these new concepts: In the first, the goal is to gain a maximum of money within a defined time interval. At the start of the game, the player has 100 {and 30 minutes. At the end of each test offered by the information carrier, the LCD tells him, depending on the number of correct answers are gain, for example: 35 {or 12 minutes to choose. The player then chooses the gain of 35 (or the credit of 12 minutes by pointing his device on a proposed choice of two pictograms, one printed in conductive ink and the other not.

In the second example, the player accumulates jokers if he gives the correct answer to the trick question of the game proposed by the information medium. At any time, by pressing a few seconds on the wild symbol (printed with conductive ink), the player can pass the current question without losing points ...

In a third embodiment of a scenario, at the beginning of a game, after the reset (initialization) of the device thanks to the trash pictogram, the player can by pointing to + and - printed in conductive and insulating ink, set his level of difficulty (from 1 to 9). At the beginning, the level of difficulty displayed is 5. With each support on +, the LCD increments by 1, with each support on -, the LCD decrements by 1. This level of difficulty chosen by the player allows the device to display on the LCD the quiz or the numbers of the questions corresponding to the level of difficulty chosen.25
