Abstract

The method involves assembling panels to form walls (8), a basement (6) and ceiling (7), where each panel is formed of base elements i.e. sandwich trays (2), juxtaposed on a face on which a wooden stiffening frame (4) is fixed for stiffening a sandwich forming assembly. Insulating material e.g. polyurethane, is placed between steel plates formed by the panels or trays, where the stiffening frame is provided with spacers (5) constituted by cleats that are arranged in a transverse or longitudinal manner.

Description

The present invention relates to an improved method for producing a rigid insulating structure for forming a mobile home. This type of construction is usually achieved by means of light panels, mounted on a frame that can receive wheels to allow its transport by truck and for its implementation on its location or installation, as described in the application for French Patent No. 08-00580 filed February 4, 2008 in the name of the present applicant. In practice, the use of lightweight panels has proved insufficient for the stiffening of the assembly, as well as for its thermal insulation. In addition, the interior was made difficult by the lightness of the panels. The present invention relates to a method of producing a mobile home, by means of panels which, once assembled, constitute the walls, the base and the ceiling. The panels are formed with several basic elements called bins. These trays consist of two thin steel plates between which there is an insulating material to form a sandwich. These sandwich bins thus produced measure as an example about 1 meter wide over a length that can vary from 2.50 meters to 8 meters or more with a thickness of about 30 to 80 millimeters. A panel is made for example by juxtaposing three bins. On one of the faces of the panels thus obtained intended to be located inside the house is fixed by means of screws, or the like, a wooden frame provided with a number of spacers constituted by cleats of square section or rectangular. This wooden frame with its spacers forms a reinforcing frame of the panels on which we can subsequently fix interior fittings. These panels with their frame can be used indifferently to constitute the basement, the ceiling or the walls of the mobile home. Once the four panels fixed in known manner on the one forming the base, and before arranging the element forming the ceiling can be to strengthen the junction and maintenance of the whole add to the four corners formed by the walls a vertical wooden beam or possibly a square. Mobile homes made according to the invention with a maximum area of 40 m 2 can be easily transported for installation at their place of use, by fixing wheels in a known manner directly on the bedrock ribs or by sliding under the bedrock a simple tray with wheels and a drawbar. In addition, several mobile homes can be coupled to form a single larger housing by removing one of the side panels. This possibility is very useful to allow the installation of emergency housing in an area that has suffered a natural disaster (earthquake, hurricane ...). In addition openings are provided in the panels to form windows and the door.

The invention will be better understood on reading the following description of one of its preferred embodiments and on examining the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a panel according to the invention .

Figure 2 is a perspective view of the mounted panel of Figure 1. Figure 3 is an exploded perspective view of a different embodiment of a panel according to the invention. Figure 4 is a partially exploded perspective view showing the realization of a mobile home with the panels according to the invention.

Sur cette figure on a figuré en traits pointillés les emplacements des fenêtres 9 et de la porte 10. 25 Referring to Figure 1 which shows a panel 1 in exploded perspective, we see that it consists of three juxtaposed tanks 2 each formed of two steel plates 2a-2b thin between which is disposed an insulating material 3 forming a sandwich. On this panel 1 there is a wooden frame 4 having four spacers 5 arranged transversally in the direction of the bins 2. This frame 4 and its spacers 5 form a reinforcing armature of the panel 1 on which it is fixed as shown in FIG. Figure 2. This panel 1 can be a wall, a base or a ceiling. An alternative embodiment is shown in exploded perspective in Figure 3. This figure shows a tray 2 formed of two thin steel plates 2a-2b surrounding an insulating material 3 on which there is a wooden frame 4a of stiffening of same dimension and having longitudinal struts 5a only. The panel according to the invention is then with this embodiment formed by the juxtaposition of three bins 2 or more with their frame 4a. Figure 4 shows a perspective view of a mobile home made according to the invention, the wall located at the front has been removed so that the structure is visible. It comprises a base 6, a ceiling 7 and the walls 8. The base 6 is formed of three bins 2 with a frame 4 and transverse spacers 5. The ceiling 7 is like the base 6, also formed by three bins 2 and a frame 4 of stiffening. The front and rear walls 8 are formed by the juxtaposition of five bins 2 on the back of which is fixed a stiffening frame 4 with its longitudinal struts 5. In this figure it has been shown in dotted lines the locations of the windows 9 and the door 10 25
