Description
l Article de lingerie tricoté élastique à bord rapporté collé l Elastic knitted underwear item with glue-on board
Les résultats sont les suivants : The present invention relates to a thin elastic knitted lingerie article. and in particular an article of footwear. The invention more particularly relates to a tights obtained by knitting. It is known, for example from documents GB 1 427 777 and EP 0 034 981, to manufacture tights by knitting two tubes on a circular loom, by opening the top of each tube along a substantially vertical cut Io and in assembling the two tubes at the edges of said cutouts so as to form the panty portion of the pantyhose. The waistband portion of the pantyhose is formed by sewing an attached belt band or more traditionally by a double knit thickness obtained during the knitting itself and whose dimensions and texture vary according to the construction and thickness characteristics. from the bottom to the waist. In the case of classic tights, this texture is particularly thin and elastic. This type of belt construction, if it provides the maintenance function satisfactorily, on the other hand provides discomfort due to a large force (which compresses the belly, marks the skin ...) and has an appearance unsightly related to the excessively large thickness inherent in these known constructions (with a disadvantage regretted by users that is to see the belt of the tights under clothing and / or roll). The object of the invention is to propose a new type of belt, or more generally a holding edge, for a fine elastic knitted article, which does not have these disadvantages. The invention achieves its goal through a fine elastic knitted lingerie article having an elastic holding edge. characterized in that this edge comprises a thin elastic knit thickness and a strip of elastic material heat-bonded to said thin elastic knit thickness. Advantageously, the band of elastic material is itself a thin elastic knit, in particular a knit based on polyamide and elastane. It may be for example a charmeuse polyamide 35 incorporating 20% elastane. The elongation at 15 Newtons (according to BS 4952) of the band is advantageously greater than 130% and for example between 130% and 160%. The strength of the strip at 80% elongation in the length direction is advantageously 220 to 430 cN. The weight of the knit of the band is advantageously of the order of 180 to 210 g / cm 2 (ISO 3801 standard). The base knit of the article advantageously has an elongation at 15 Newtons equal to or greater than 150%. Advantageously, the strip of elastic material is heat-bonded by means of a very thin film associated with the strip, that is to say the thickness of which is advantageously less than 100 μm, and preferably less than or equal to 50 μm. . The film is advantageously a continuous film of synthetic material, in particular thermofusible. Preferably, it is a polyurethane film. The association of the film with the web is controlled to be sufficient to allow handling of the web / film complex, but is light enough not to block the elasticity of the knit or that of the polyurethane film itself. For example, in the case of a polyurethane film, the combination is made at a temperature corresponding to the softening point of the polyurethane (typically about 94 ° C) or slightly above that point. this allows the polyurethane to weakly impregnate the adjacent knit fibers and achieve the required association. The elongation of the complex thus obtained at 15 N is advantageously at least 120%, and preferably of the order of 120% to 150%. The subsequent heat-bonding of the base knit complex is at a temperature which may be higher than the complex association temperature. but remains in any case lower than the melting temperature of the film (for example about 190 ° C for a polyurethane film) so as not to degrade the elasticity of the film. In practice, for the production of a tack, the complex (the strip and its associated film 3o) is disposed on the edge of a knitted tube in single thickness and open, in the stretched state; the complex is applied using a press adapted to thermocollate, thanks to the conditions of heat and pressure, the band at the edge of the tube through the film. The heat-bonded strip is optionally cut, for example by ultrasound and along a straight edge, curved or in waves providing a more feminine aesthetic side. Two tubes thus treated are assembled according to the traditional technique to form a tights. Preferably, the strip is bonded to the inner side of the edge, to maintain a uniform appearance on the outside. This band thus glued gives a more dressed and less low-end, especially on a sticky type article. In a very advantageous embodiment of the invention, the article to which it applies is a knitted tights having a total surface weight of less than 100 g / m 2 with the exception of the holding edge whose surface weight Io by knitting a value substantially equal to or greater than 150 g / m2. Attempts were made to compare strength / aspect ratio by size on a pantyhose A manufactured with a conventional double-thickness belt 30 mm in height, and a pantyhose B manufactured with a single-thickness belt on which a tape was laminated. 30 mm high charmeuse polyamide / elastane marketed by LIEBAERT under the reference CN 1985 using a polyurethane film of 50 m. The results are as follows:
5 20 In a particular comparative example between type A tights and type B tights, it was found that the force / elongation pattern was substantially straight in both cases but shifted ordinate: for the belt of the invention, Elongations of about 59.7 cm to 64.4 cm correspond to forces of about 230 to 300 grams, while the same elongations correspond to forces of about 510 to 580 grams for a belt of the prior art. These results show that the belts according to the invention exert less stress on the user. The process of the invention is particularly advantageous as has been said for fine knits, that is to say of a weight generally between 100 g / m 2 and 250 g / m 2, and preferably between 150 g / m2 and 200 g / m2. Strength (g) Elongation (cm) A size 1-2 250-670 58-75 A size 3-4 250-570 60-77 B size 1-2 220-310 55-65 B size 3-4 220-310 57 Their thickness at the level of the bonding zone is of the order of 0.60 mm and. with the bonded tape, of the order of 1.20 mm. According to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, it can be applied to an article of footwear such as a tights whose surface weight is generally less than 100 g / m 2, or even 80 g / m 2 at the level of the legs, but whose The web weight at which the heat-bonded film is applied is increased relative to the weight of the surrounding region, preferably to be close to 150 g / m 2 or greater. This increase is advantageously obtained by knitting by adding larger threads or by using tighter stitches than on the surrounding part. Naturally, although a preferred application relates to pantyhose belts, the same principle can be applied to the production of an elastic edge for holding other lingerie articles, such as stockings, knee-highs, socks, panties, etc. It is also possible to use in combination with the complex of the invention a silicone coating on the holding edge. 5 20
