Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device for the cultivation of several plants inside a single flower pot without risk of dieback due to different water requirements.
The cultivation of several plants inside a flower pot, usually a wicker basket lined inside a material preventing the substrate from flowing through the braids of the basket but allowing excess water to escape, allows to keep these plants for a very short time. Indeed, many of them very quickly give signs of wasting, first of all due to the difference of their original environment, but also due in large part to the radically opposite hydrometry, itself resulting from their original environment. finally, it is also due to the anarchic growth of the roots. The device according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages. It comprises according to a first characteristic: a cylindrical pot comprising a number of compartment defined in advance. A compartment will have a minimum height equivalent to half the height of the pot and a maximum height not exceeding the height of the pot. This with the exception of the central cylindrical portion which must exceed the height of the pot to allow easier removal of the flush and interchangeable elements associated with this pot. Because of this the built-in and interchangeable elements, which happens to be the 2nd characteristic, are inserted in the compartments provided for this purpose, and can be extracted at any time to irrigate the one that requires a more generous watering. Note that two quarter-round elements have a cornice to hide unsightly joints. The removal of some of these elements will allow the other species remaining in the pot to receive a larger ration of water due to their environment; excess water is evacuated through the holes provided for this purpose. The previously enumerated technique can be applied to all pot shapes, such as square, round or oval, rectangular and other pots. The previously enumerated technique applies to a defined number of compartments and elements. recessed and interchangeable, for example: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 etc. Finally, the previously enumerated technique applies to the shape of the compartments as well as to the shape of the identical elements to that of the compartments of the pot, for example with compartments and elements: round, quarter round, square, rectangular and other forms. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1: top view of the pot without the elements FIG. 2: top view of the elements without the pot FIG. : front view of the elements without the pot - figure 4: front view in section of the pot and its elements - figure 5: front view of the pot and its elements With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a pot (1 ) provided with a bottom (7) pierced with 10 holes (8) for irrigation and compartmentalized (9) in a number defined in advance of compartments (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) for accommodating built-in elements and interchangeable (2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A), themselves provided with a bottom (7) pierced with holes (8) for irrigation, and whose elements (3A and 5A) are provided with a cornice serving to hide unsightly joints.
The recessed and interchangeable elements (2A, 3A, 4A, SA, 6A) serving to accommodate different plants will fit perfectly into the compartments (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and will be easily removed for those which require reduced watering. The flush-mounted and interchangeable elements (2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A) also have the function of managing the uncontrolled growth of the roots, which growth is more or less rapid depending on the species. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for multiple cultivation, in number and in variety, within the pot.
