Abstract

The invention relates to a support for potted plants, consisting of a stake 1 integral with a base 2. The weight of the earth on the base provides the stability of the stake. The device furthermore makes it possible to remove the plant from the pot easily by pulling on the stake 1. Moreover, the particular shape of the base 2 makes it possible to prevent leakage of earth via the bottom of the pot without disrupting the flow of water.

Description

 The invention described below relates to the field of plant cultivation.

The cultivation of plants in the ground or in pots gives rise to certain difficulties among which we can cite the need to support certain plants by attaching them to a stake. It often happens that the plant exerts on the stake a horizontal force which tends to tilt it.

Several fixing systems for stakes have been patented, in particular those protected by French patents n02510863, 2524256,2462856 and 2fi8682 which all have the disadvantage of forcing to look for a stent of diameter adapted to the tubes or perforations which they contain.

With regard more particularly to growing in pots, two other problems can arise. When planting made necessary by root growth, it can happen that the clod of earth strongly adheres to the walls of the pot and that we are forced to pull on the stem of the plant, at the risk of breaking it, to extract the clod of earth from the pot. On the other hand, we often see soil leaks through the hole intended to allow the flow of water practiced at the bottom of some pots and we usually place stones or pieces of broken pots on these holes to remedy this
These problems can be solved by a single device which is the subject of the present invention.
It is a guardian which can take any of the usual forms of guardians and in particular the form of a rod, this guardian being integral with a sole, the largest dimension of which is clearly less than the length of the guardian and whose support base is substantially perpendicular to the axis of the stake. This sole is intended in principle to rest on the bottom of a pot but can simply be buried in the ground. According to the first embodiment, the concavity is extended to the edge of the sole, so that a spacing of 1 to 13 mm, but preferably 2 to 4 m, exists locally between the edge of the sole and the bottom. of the pot to allow the flow of water while preventing soil leaks.

According to the second embodiment, one or more holes are drilled in the sole at the location of the concavity. These holes have a diameter between 1 and 10 mm, but preferably 2 to 4 mm, to allow the flow of water. while preventing soil leakage.

Figure 1 shows the perspective view of a possible embodiment of the invention. The support (1), consisting of a rod, and the sole (2) in the form of a scalloped disc are molded in a single piece of plastic.
