Abstract

The ash tray has a flat bottom (1) with round raised edges (4), and a cover sliding on the upper part. The bottom is fabricated from high temperature resistant material. The upper part is encased on a lower part and provided with a rectangular bore to permit the passage of cigarette butts. Upper contour of the bottom and lower contour of the part are provided with a slide (5) and another slide to permit perfect stacking of the bottom with the upper part and ensuring tightness of the tray. A tab is placed inside the bore. The cover slides in the slide situated on three sides of the inner contour.

Un système de languette fixée sur le dessus de la 25 partie ( B) bloque le couvercle afin qu'il ne tombe pas du conteneur, ce qui permet l'ouverture assez grande du cendrier pour le dépôt des mégots et permet de vider aisément le cendrier dans une poubelle sans que le couvercle ne tombe. Le volume du cendrier fermé étant réduit, la durée d'étouffement des mégots 30 allumés sera d'environ 10 à 15 secondes maximum, après fermeture du couvercle. Ce bref délais évite tout risque de chauffage excessif du conteneur et écarte tout risque de brûlure. La matière première utilisée pour la fabrication de ce boîtier résistant à une température très élevée écarte définitivement tout risque de feux.
