Description

Modular dynamic external fixation device for osteosynthesis of small bones, especially of the hand. To achieve this type of synthesis, it is possible to use, in particular, pins or external fixators. With regard to the pins, it is well there are often S generatrix of articular stiffness when it crosses a joint. In addition, the spindle generally does not provide complete stability and must be protected by such. With regard to external fixators, mention may be made of the patent FR R. 911 4260 of which the applicant of the present also holds. This fixator comprises elements acting as a jaw and receiving anchor pins to be fixed in a specific angular position on either side of a fracture focus. The jaws can receive, after fixation, at least one missile body with controlled angular orientation capability and locking in this position by means of coupling rods. Fixator is particularly intended for non-bearing limbs and, given its modular nature, allows inter alia, the immobilization of the fracture with preservation of articulation movements. It is this type of fixator gives full satisfaction, it appeared necessary to make a certain modification, especially at the jaw and the body, with the possibility of extending the applications, while aiming to simplify its design. In particular, the problem that arises to solve the invention and to obtain a fracture reduction of high quality stable contention allowing an immediate recovery of the function of the joint considered. To solve the problem was it designed, a modular fixator orientable in all planes of space, easy fast opposite on a previously reduced fracture; The present invention relates to an elastic external fixator to be mounted in cooperation with two portions of bone against which it is desired to exert either a traction or a distraction, which finds a particularly advantageous application to treat by distraction of articular fracture 4e according to the principle of ligamentotaxis in which the attraction exerted on both sides of the fracture reduces the displacement of the fragments and maintains them in a position likely to promote joint remodeling. There already existed such external fixator which has implications especially in the field of bone repair of the finger of the hand. Such a fixator essentially comprises two hooks capable of being fixed 2S 30 3s M, 15 Z, J respectively on the two bone portions and relayed by an elastic spring. Its hooks are of two types: rectilinear shape if one wants to exert traction, shaped substantially (z) if one wants to exercise a distraction by means of an elastic force of traction. External fixators known at the present time can modulate the intensity of the force to be exerted between the deposition of the two portions of bone, both in traction and in distraction, and requires at least two different organizations according to the type of force that the we want to exercise. This known system is essentially hand-crafted, delicate and highly dependent on operators. The results of this known technique are random. Moreover, montages made are generally bulky. It is the same as here from this external hijacked words simple fixing function is made mobile. Their volume is related to the fact that the attachment systems on the lance, those exercising a distraction on the axis, for example the finger, are independent and each occupies a clean volume. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an elastic external fixator which is a single structure irrespective of the type of force to be exerted between the two bone portions, traction or distraction and which makes it possible to modulate intensity of this force, allowing mobilization at the same time as destruction more precisely, for an elastic external fixator between two first and second portions of bone, in that it comprises: In fig. 2 two semicircles, each half circle has a sandwich shape 3.0, passes through four holes (2a) (2b) (2c) (2d) and two orifices (3a), intended to be engaged by two screws, which allow tightening. According to fig. 1 and fig. 2.1es two semicircles are connected by a bridge ((5), molten, which allows the sliding of the second 3S part (5b), has orifices (6) communicating thus allowing the sliding and distraction of the bridge. the desired length is defined, a stud (7) which connects the two parts of the bridge and thus allows the two parts to rotate.

On one of the semicircles is fixed a pillar (8) inclined 45 °, consists of a pulley (9) which is intended to receive the end of a spring (10), the other part is fixed on a second pulley (11).
