Abstract

The frame is used for holding finger and similar fractures and comprises several sets of straight pins (6) fixed, one each side, into the bone structure. These pins emerge at diverging angles and are held rigidly in position by semicircular supports (1) fitted externally. One support bridge one set of two pins can be adjusted and clamped (5) along the pin length. Each support has two additional clamps (2) on its outer circumference, these being linked together by rods (3) passing longitudinally between the supports, these guides may be articulated (8) if required.
