Abstract
Percutrum Barytar: extension of the foot by means of a piece of rubber or plastic 10cm x 2cm attached to the foot (big toe) to play Baritone accompaniments of Guitar (Guitar / Bass.) Fig.1 The percutrum 1, attached to the toe by a ring with its quality of spring strikes the strings of the instrument Barytar.Fig.2 The Barytar is arranged to be struck by the percutrum on its two strings 1,2, unequal length and height, thanks to the second bridge 4. The left foot can be easily placed through 5 guitar keys thanks to the heel support 3.Thus Percutrum Barytar, allow to play an easy and simple accompaniment to instruments with hands, with the feet.
Description
1/1 Conventional acoustic guitars are plucked either with the fingers or with a plectrum, they do not have the means to incorporate the bass lines with the feet.
The baritone is a guitar that is played with the feet. Instead of pinching with the fingers, or with a plectrum, he is hit with a strip of plastic or rubber attached to the big toe of the left foot.
Fig. 1 shows the essential part of the invention, the percutrum 1, attached to the toe by a ring of foldable material (metal plastic, adhesive tape ...) The band is slightly curved, and of a spring nature to impact the rope. An integral shoe is also possible. Fig. 2 shows the adapted guitar or Barytar, with two trestles to accommodate 1, a baritone chord, and 2, a bass chord. The guitar is in its case (guitar case) so that it does not move, and a support 3, for rotations on the heel of the left foot. Thus the toe of the left foot can land on 5 keys without moving the heel. The neck of the baritone is supported at the end to not detune with the pressure of the toe on the keys.
The simplest method of manufacturing the percutrum (Fig. 1) is by means of a band of tape around the toe and band, compressed immediately with the fingers for later use. But an industrial production might require the integration of the ring with the band. The band must have a slight spring nature in order to make the strings sound, and its relaxed position is slightly curved (Fig.l) so that the impact tip is close to the height of the toe and the rope. The contact time is thus reduced to the minimum to avoid the choking of the sound. The Barytar is made by adding the following modifications to the design of a normal guitar: A second bridge 4 farther from the rose and higher than the first, and a second string taken behind it. Baritone 1 (the thickest guitar string) and a Bass 2 string allow you to play a simple accompaniment to hand instruments with your feet. The heel support 3 could fit into the crate, otherwise it should be at least 10 cm square, and almost at the same height as the Barytar. The right foot can rotate on the sound table to alternate between the two strings. The lid of the box must be able to be removed so as not to intervene between the instrument and the listener.
Barytar will allow the guitarist to accompany with the feet and stay in the field live, while increase its sound. The guitarist is, of course, sitting.
