Abstract

The instrument has bass and baryton chords (2, 1) that are not in a same plane, where the chords are struck by a hammer fixed to a flexible foot of a musician. Lower ends of the chords are fixed on cradles having different heights. The hammer is provided with a ring that is positioned on a big toe of the foot of the musician, where height difference between each chord is about 2 to 7 millimeters along a curvature of the hammer, and the instrument is played by the foot of the musician.

The invention relates to an instrumental musical string device, consisting of a guitar whose strings are not in the same plane, with different height of the easels on which are fixed the lower end of the strings, these strings being intended to be struck by a soft hammer fixed on the foot of the musician. This is a guitar that is played with the feet. Instead of pinching with the fingers, or with a plectrum, he is hit with a band of plastic or rubber attached to the big toe of his right foot. The hammer is provided with an integral ring intended to be positioned on the big toe of the foot. The strings have a different height above the rose, this difference would be 2 to 7 mm between each string, depending on the hammer curvature, and the number of strings.

Fig. 1 shows the adapted guitar, with two trestles to accommodate 1. a baritone chord, and 2. a bass chord. The guitar is in its case (guitar case) so that it does not move, and requires a heel support 3. next to the sleeve, for the left foot. The right foot stays on the guitar.

Fig. 2 shows the hammer: a 1. semi-rigid plastic or rubber band with the quality of a bouncing spring attached to the toe by a ring 2. foldable material (plastic, rubber, tape ...) An integral shoe is also possible. The band will have a length of 12cm, width of 2cm, and will be 5mm in thickness.

The simplest method of manufacturing the hammer (Fig. 2) is by means of a band of adhesive tape around the toe and the tape compressed away with the fingers for later use, but an industrial production might require to be the integration of the ring with the band.

The instrument (fig.1) is manufactured by adding the following modifications to the drawing of a normal guitar. : A second bridge 2. further from the rosace and higher than the first. His nut 2. will be at least 5mm higher than the first saddle 1. The second rope will be removed from the first by 5mm at the place adjacent to the right foot on which the hammer is attached. The angle between the ropes will be about 1 °. The heel support 3 could fit in the box, otherwise it should be 10 cm square, and almost at the same height as the instrument. The right foot can rotate on the sound table to alternate between the two strings. The lid of the box must be able to be removed so as not to intervene between the instrument and the listener. The instrument will allow the guitarist to accompany with the feet and thus stay in the field live, even acoustic while increasing its sound. The guitarist is, of course, sitting.

Musical instrumental rope apparatus according to claim 1. characterized in that the hammer is provided with an integral ring for positioning on the big toe of the foot. 3. Instrumental string device characterized in that the ropes have a different height above the rosette, this difference would be 2 to 7mm between each string, depending on the hammer curvature, and the number of strings.
