La présente invention concerne un ouvrant de véhicule automobile. Certains véhicules automobiles, souvent des véhicules utilitaires, comportent, pour fermer leur ouverture arrière, un ouvrant à deux battants. Les battants peuvent être solidarisés l'un à l'autre, tranche contre tranche, de manière à fermer l'ouverture précitée. A cet effet, l'un des battants comporte, au niveau de sa tranche, un élément formant gâche ou fil de gâche tandis que l'autre battant comporte une serrure qui comporte un pêne, apte à coopérer avec l'élément formant gâche pour solidariser les deux battants. Le document US 5 163723 décrit un dispositif de fermeture d'une porte de véhicule automobile qui comprend un élément formant gâche apte à coopérer avec une serrure. La serrure comporte une cavité ouverte au niveau d'une ouverture en forme de L. Cette ouverture en forme de L comporte une première portion, disposée au niveau de la tranche du battant et une seconde portion disposée au niveau d'une face du battant. La première et la seconde portion communiquent pour former une ouverture en forme de L. L'élément formant gâche est introduit dans la cavité à travers la seconde portion de l'ouverture de la cavité. Il s'insère ainsi dans la cavité et dépasse de cette dernière au niveau de la première portion de l'ouverture, selon une direction perpendiculaire à la première portion de l'ouverture. Dans cette position, il peut coopérer avec le pêne pour se solidariser avec la serrure. Dans le cas des ouvrants à deux battants précités, l'utilisateur doit tout d'abord rabattre le battant dit esclave , c'est-à-dire celui comportant l'élément formant gâche, contre la carrosserie du véhicule automobile, puis insérer l'élément formant gâche dans la cavité de la serrure en rabattant le battant dit maître , c'est-à-dire celui qui comporte la serrure. En opérant de cette manière, l'élément formant gâche entre dans la serrure par la seconde portion de l'ouverture puis traverse la première portion de l'ouverture. Or, il arrive que l'utilisateur pressé ne prenne pas garde à l'ordre de fermeture des deux battants. Lorsque l'utilisateur ferme de manière simultanée les deux battants, il arrive que l'élément formant gâche se trouve en face de la première portion de l'ouverture de la serrure et pénètre dans la cavité de la serrure à travers cette première portion de l'ouverture, risquant d'endommager le pêne et par la même, la serrure entière. Un but de la présente invention est de proposer un ouvrant de véhicule automobile du type comprenant deux battants, l'un des battants comportant un élément formant gâche qui coopère avec une serrure qui équipe l'autre battant, qui permet d'éviter l'endommagement de la serrure lors de la fermeture simultanée des deux battants. Ce but est atteint au moyen d'un ouvrant de véhicule automobile comportant un premier et un second battant, ledit premier et second battant présentant une face et une tranche, ledit premier battant comportant un élément formant gâche qui fait saillie au niveau de ladite tranche et ledit second battant comportant une serrure qui comporte une cavité apte à recevoir ledit élément formant gâche, ladite cavité étant ouverte au niveau d'une ouverture qui comprend une première portion, ménagée au niveau de ladite tranche et une seconde portion, ménagée au niveau de ladite face du second battant, ladite serrure comportant un pêne apte à coopérer avec ledit élément formant gâche pour solidariser ledit premier et ledit second battant, tranche contre tranche, lorsque ledit élément formant gâche est introduit dans ladite cavité à travers ladite seconde portion de ladite ouverture, selon une direction sensiblement perpendiculaire à ladite face et dépasse à travers ladite première portion de ladite ouverture.
