Abstract

The poster-holder (10) has longitudinal openings (11A, 11B) in its lower part such that a vertical wall of a pole is inserted for maneuvering the poster-holder from a bottom position to a top position. The poster-holder and the pole have associated shapes such that the wall of the pole is found overside of the openings, when the pole is in a position susceptible to unhook the poster-holder. Inclined walls (14A, 14B) guide the wall of the pole from the openings to stops (15A, 15B) and limit positions of the pole with in the poster-holder. An independent claim is also included for a pole for a poster-holder.

Poster holder and perch of associated forms

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a poster holder, used in particular for hanging advertising posters in supermarkets, hypermarkets, shopping malls, ... and an associated pole intended to maneuver between high positions of display and positions low posters change.

STATE OF THE PRIOR ART Patent FR 2 900 758 discloses such poster holders permitting this type of maneuvering and thus avoiding the use of stepladders, for more productivity and more staff safety. They are simple shapes and can advantageously be extruded for example PVC, thus being light to handle and economical.

But such posters have the unacceptable disadvantage of not being absolutely reliable as to the possible falls of the poster holders, and therefore ultimately fail to guarantee the total safety of people and materials.

The display and the pole shown in this document are such that a vertical wall of the pole can be inserted from below the display, by a lower opening created between a cylindrical wall forming its envelope and an inner wall. In the case of attachment of the display by magnetization (to a high metal support, for example to a false ceiling steel frame), the stall is performed by pulling down the display, to the help from the pole.

In this case, the vertical wall of the pole retains the fall of the poster holder by inserting between its two walls provided for this purpose. However, although these two walls of the display are gradually converging (from the lower opening that it generates to their intersection, located substantially in the highest part of the poster holder), it can happen some cases for which the display is correctly captured by this wall of the pole, but bounces over the entire height (substantially the entire height of the display) so as to emerge. And so to fall.

Because the pull down (using the pole) of such an extruded plastic display generates its flexion prior to the stall of the magnets. Despite the strongest wall thicknesses, and despite the lowest permissible magnets, reducing this flexion, it is translated at the instant of stall by an instantaneous return of the display holder to its rectilinear shape (springback), may cause the poster board to rebound against the pole, which can sometimes cause it to fall.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the invention is to provide a poster holder for solving at least one of the problems of the devices of the prior art.

According to the invention, the display holder comprises means for holding a poster and suspension means allowing the poster holder to be hooked in the up position of the display, and to be unhooked and lowered in a low position. poster changes. The display may comprise two inner walls constituting the means for holding posters, and two outer walls, on either side of the two inner walls, so as to create two lower openings on each side of the two inner walls, between the inner and outer walls. And it may comprise two walls inclined respectively in the extension of the outer walls and vis-à-vis the two inner walls, these inclined walls approaching the inner walls as they move away from the lower opening , so as to guide the wall of the pole within the poster holder.

The inclined walls can be closer to the inner walls to form a spacing slightly greater than the thickness of the wall of the pole, so as to allow it to be inserted and limit its positions.

The two inner walls may comprise respectively lugs located above the spacing, so as to form a stop for the wall of the pole.

The display may comprise a substantially cylindrical longitudinal housing, at the two inner walls. The display may comprise magnets constituting the suspension means, allowing it to be hooked up display position by magnetization on a high metal support, and to be unhooked by pulling down.

It may comprise hooks constituting the suspension means, allowing it to be hooked up display position to cables, bars, or all horizontal supports, and to be removed by slight recovery and release.

The pole may comprise a first angle whose upper wall is able to bear on the top of the display holder, and have a second angle whose vertical wall is adapted to fit into the lower opening of the display holder. The first and second angles may have an opening between the upper wall and the vertical wall such that this upper wall can slide on the display until it is in contact with the two walls of the first angle, according to the different possible angles of manipulation. The vertical wall is substantially in line with the lower opening of the display when it is in contact with the two walls of the first angle irrespective of these handling angles. These positions in contact correspond to positions for which the display is likely to be off the hook. Alternatively, the pole may comprise a single blade adapted to fit into the lower opening of the display holder. The approach positions according to the different possible angles of manipulation define the positions for which the display is likely to be off the hook. The pole may comprise a parallelepipedal wall of thickness less than the spacing of the display holder as well as a protruding insert, so as to limit the range of positions of the pole relative to the display.

The posters of the invention are always simple shapes and can be easily extruded for example PVC. They can still be light to handle and economical.

However, they guarantee the safety of people and materials. Without increasing the dimensions of the display, without even exploiting its full height, the guide according to the invention avoids rebound of the display holder and it avoids any risk of falling.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION FIG. 1 represents a poster holder 10 comprising two inner blades 13A, 13B spaced so as to create a slot 13. This slot 13 is intended for holding the posters, by stapling their top edge (the posters through the slot 13 and being suspended by these clips, thicker than the slot 13). Any other known holding means could be represented in other exemplary embodiments.

The display 10 also has two outer blades 12A, 12B, on either side of the two inner blades 13A, 13B. The gap between inner blades 13A, 13B and outer 12A, 12B creates two longitudinal openings 11A, 11B on each side of the two inner blades 13A, 13B. These longitudinal openings 11A, 11B are located in the lower part of the poster holder 10, under the display 10.

FIG. 2 shows a pole 20 of shape associated with that of the display 10. Its end comprises a first angle 21, 22 such that the pole is automatically placed in a first position P1. It comprises a second angle 23, 24 adapted to be inserted into the lower opening 11A, 11B of the display 10. Advantageously, in this embodiment of the invention of FIG. 2, the end of the pole 20 is very simply achieved by assembling a U-profile 23, 24, 25 against a first angle 21, 22.

As illustrated in FIG. 3, the display 10 of FIG. 1 may be provided with magnets 19 in its upper part. More specifically, the display holder 10 comprises a groove 17 dovetail in which are inserted two pads 19B and their magnets 19A. In this way, the display holder 10 can be magnetized on all metal supports (false ceilings with steel reinforcement, with or without slabs, rails 30 or studs steel reported, ...) in the high position of display.

FIGS. 4A, 4B, 5A and 5B show in more detail the automatic positioning of the pole 20 on the display 10 in this first position P1.20. As illustrated in FIG. 4A, the operator is supported on the top of the display 10 by means of the first angle 21, 22 located at the end of the pole 20. The upper wall 21 of the first angle 21, 22 is as wide as necessary to make this operation of the simplest and fastest. Advantageously, this support does not require any centering and can be throughout the poster holder 10.

Then and almost instantaneously, as illustrated in FIG. 4B, the upper wall 21 slides on the display 10 until it is in contact with the two walls 1.0 21, 22 of the first angle. The passage of the display 10 along the wall 21 to the wall 22 (passage from the position of Figure 4A to that of Figure 4B) is possible due to an opening 27 sufficient. More specifically, this passage is possible due to an opening 27 greater than the height of the display 10 projected according to the angle a. The angle a is the angle of manipulation, i.e. the angle between the wall 21 of the pole 20 and the vertical. This angle has translated the position of the operator in relation to the plumb of the poster holder 10 and the poster. In this example of FIGS. 4A and 4B, the angle a is maximum, of a few degrees less than 90 °. The operator is positioned just in front of the display 10 and displays it.

Advantageously, thanks to this angle is even close to 90 °, the sliding of the wall 21 on the display holder 10 to the position described in FIG. 4B is automatic, simply because of the weight of the pole 20, even a traction force initiated by the operator. This automatic position described in FIG. 4B is the position P1, according to the angle a. According to this position P1, the operator is likely to unhook the display 10 from his support: if he exerts a traction force on the pole 20, this effort results in a pull down of the display 10 and his stall.

Advantageously, in this position P1 of FIG. 4B, the wall 24 of the pole 30 is substantially perpendicular to the lower opening 11A of the display 10 (it is completely with the help of the poster not shown).

Figures 5A and 5B show the same automatic positioning of the pole 20 on the display 10, but at a different angle of manipulation i3. In this example of FIGS. 5A and 5B, the angle F3 is minimal, the operator is offset relative to the display 10 up to the limit of the practicality of manipulation (this limit depending on the heights of poster and therefore pole).

In the same way, the operator is supported on the top of the display 10 by means of the first angle 21, 22. The upper wall 21 automatically slides on the display 10 until it is in contact with the two walls 21, 22 of this first angle. This is all the more pronounced as the angle F3 is smaller than the angle a. The wall 24 of the pole 20 is again automatically plumb with the lower opening 11A of the display 10, in a new position P1 such that the operator is likely to pick up the display 10.

The associated forms of the display 10 and the pole 20 are such that the wall 24 of the pole 20 is directly above the lower opening 11A of the display 10 when the pole 20 is in the range of the positions. P1 likely to pick up the display 10. This range from the position of Figure 4B (operator closest to the poster) to that of Figure 5B (the furthest operator).

Advantageously, the display 10 has a cylindrical shape, allowing all variations of positions within this range without disturbances, by simple rotation 25 of the angle 21, 22 around the cylinder formed by the display 10.

The poster holder 10 can therefore be lowered to the lower position of the poster by the pole 20: - the operator places the pole 20 on the display 10 (position P1) 30 - regardless of the manipulation angles (a to [3), the wall 24 of the pole 20 is substantially in line with a lower opening 11A, 11B of the display 10 -the operator exerts a pulling force downwards through the pole 20 - the display 10 demagnetising its support - the wall 24 of the pole 20 automatically inserted into the lower opening 11A, 11B of the display 10 (position P2) - the display 10 is thus retained from the chute, it can be lowered and reassembled by the pole 20. FIGS. 6A and 6B show in detail the device avoiding the display 10 a rebound and a fall due to a flexion of the display 10 prior to the stall of magnets 19.

First, the display 10 comprises according to the invention two inclined walls 14A, 14B respectively in the extension of the outer walls 12A, 12B and vis-à-vis the two inner walls 13A, 13B. These inclined walls 14A, 14B are approaching the inner walls 13A, 13B as they move away from the lower opening 11A, 11B. The insertion of the wall 24 of the pole 20 within the display 10 is thus guided. The not shown poster also contributes to this.

Second, the inclined walls 14A, 14B approach the inner walls 13A, 13B to form a spacing 18A, 18B slightly greater than the thickness of the wall 24 of the pole 20. This wall 24 is thus led to 20 s' insert in the 18A spacing. But its degrees of freedom are reduced to positions P2 between that of Figure 6A and that of Figure 6B. That is, at a substantially vertical position.

The pole 20, almost stuck within the display 10, is obviously not subject to any rebound. The safety of people and materials is guaranteed.

And advantageously, although causing more rapid contact with the pole 20, rebound source, these inclined walls 14A, 14B on the contrary avoid any risk of falling. Thanks to the inclination.5 The associated forms of the display 10 and the pole 20 must be such that the pole 20 must be at the limit of the jam when it is inserted in the display 10. But avoiding any risk of jamming. Because it would mean the risk of not being able to freely release the pole 20 after hanging posters 10 in the display position.

For this, the spacing 18A, 18B can be provided for a very small clearance with the wall 24. In this case, it must be extruded with a very low tolerance. More advantageously, it can be extruded with a wider tolerance, for a wider clearance, but with an extension piece 26 in excrescence, compensating for this clearance. In this embodiment of FIGS. 6A, 6B, the wall 24 is simply parallelepipedal (since from a U-profile 23, 24, 25) comprises screws whose heads 26 perfectly play this role of limiting the position range P2 of the pole 20 relative to the display 10 and avoid any risk of jamming.

The display holder 10 can be indefinitely descended and reassembled, without particular dexterity and in a very short time, thanks to elements that do not require precise positioning between them and self-positioning.

As shown in FIGS. 6A, 6B, the two inner walls 13A, 13B respectively comprise lugs 15A, 15B situated above the spacing 18A, 18B, so as to form a stop for the wall 24 of the pole 20. Advantageously the magnets 19 are in all the positions P2 above the upper wall 21 of the pole 20. Thanks to these stops 15A, 15B, magnetization attachment on all high supports is easy without requiring long lengths of magnets 19.

As illustrated in FIG. 7, the same display holder 10 of FIG. 1 may also be provided with hooks 19 ', inserted into the groove 17 in the dovetail. In this way, the same display holder 10 can advantageously be attached to all tensioned cables, to all horizontal bars, ..., in the high position of display.

As for the example of FIGS. 3 to 6B, the display holder 10 can be indefinitely and easily lowered to the low position of changing posters and raised to the high position of display, thanks to the same pole 20: - the operator place the pole 20 on the display 10 (position P1) - whatever the handling angles (a to 13), the wall 24 of the pole 20 is substantially in line with a lower opening 11A, 11B of the display 10 - the operator slightly raises the pole 20 - the wall 24 of the pole 20 automatically inserts into the lower opening 11A, 11B of the display 10 (position P2) - the display 10 is thus unhooked, it can be lowered and reassembled by pole 20.

Advantageously, the same display holder 10 and the same pole 20 can thus be used for a display on a false ceiling, or on a tensioned cable, without any risk of falling.

FIG. 8 represents a variant embodiment of a pole for manipulating this poster holder 10 provided with hooks 19 'of FIG. 7.

This boom 20 'is advantageously simplified for this type of use. It comprises a simple blade 24 'adapted to fit into the lower opening 11A, 11B of the display holder 10. Thus: the operator approaches the pole 20' of the display holder 10 hooked in the display position, facilitated by sliding on the poster (position P1) 25 - regardless of the handling angles, the blade 24 'of the pole 20' is in line with a lower opening 11A, 11B of the display 10 - the operator slightly raises the pole 20 '- the wall 24' of the pole 20 'is inserted automatically into the lower opening 11A, 11B of the display 10 (position P2) 30 - the display 10 is thus unhooked, it can be lowered and reassembled by the pole 20 '.

In this embodiment of Figure 8, the blade 24 'is bent, for example at 120 °, so as to optimize the ease of handling in all cases.

In all the examples shown, the display 10 is advantageously the same.

It comprises a substantially cylindrical longitudinal housing 16, at the two inner walls 13A, 13B.

Advantageously, this longitudinal housing 16 can be used to insert a metal rod for stiffening the display 10, so as to limit its flexion and thus the rebound phenomenon, for example in the case of very large lengths of the posters 10 .

It can also be used to insert a metal rod intended to join two consecutive poster holders.

It can be used to insert an elastic cord passing through the display 10, such as that described by the patent FR 2 873 842 (elastic rope extra flexible allowing a lowered low position, by elongation of the elastic rope). For example, this elastic rope can be coupled to a tensioned cable, in the case of poster holders with hooks.

It can finally be tapped and serve as a means of attachment, for example to use the display 10 in horizontal or vertical mast, screwed on a support or even a magnet.

In all the examples shown, all the risks of falling are solved. The posters 10 can be operated safely. Yet, they are 30 simple and compact shapes. They can be extruded for example PVC. They fulfill precise functions but without requiring complex tools or special extrusion conditions. They can therefore be more economical. In addition, they are light to handle.

The figures and their descriptions made above illustrate the invention rather than limiting it. The reference signs in the claims are not limiting in nature. The verbs "understand" and "include" do not exclude the presence of elements other than those listed in the claims. The word "a" preceding an element does not exclude the presence of a plurality of such elements.
