Abstract
Description
The technical field of the present invention is that of panels absorbing acoustic waves and caissons made from these panels. It is well known to reduce the transmission of acoustic waves by placing between two individuals for example a wall reducing the transmission of acoustic waves. Thus, FR-A-2764619 discloses acoustic absorption coating consisting of an assembly of claustra type uprights on which is glued an acoustically absorbent weave. A particular embodiment of this coating recommended in this patent is the manufacture of panels or slabs for covering walls or ceilings. However, the proposed embodiment has the disadvantage of associating a claustra woven, which makes the realization expensive and difficult to cut and adapt to the dimensions of the room. FR-2443290 has also been proposed an acoustic wave damping panel consisting of a support on which is deposited successively two layers of polymeric viscoelastic material. This technology is far from wood-based panels. It has also been proposed in FR-2588588 a panel consisting of vertical profiled bars, a damping material of the mineral fiber felt type all embedded in a frame. We see that it is a complex fabrication. All these documents describe usable panels as such without being incorporated into a usable structure such as a piece of furniture or a cabinet. These panels therefore constitute additional walls adequately fixed in the room to be treated and provided as far as possible with an aesthetic appearance. These panels are generally of a significant thickness and reduce the useful space of a room. The object of the present invention is to provide an acoustic wave absorbing panel of simple structure suitable for use alone or in combination with another panel to form a useful enclosure. The subject of the invention is therefore a structural panel 2 that absorbs and / or isolates acoustic waves, characterized in that it is in the form of a sandwich assembly comprising a first panel provided with through perforations, a second panel in the form of a mineral wool layer and a third panel, these three panels being joined by an assembly means. According to one characteristic of the invention, the first panel consists of two wood-based elementary panels, one frontal and the other rear, between which an acoustic veil is interposed, this first panel being intended to receive the acoustic waves . According to another characteristic of the invention, the acoustic veil is constituted by a woven fabric or not. According to another characteristic of the invention, the perforations of the first panel are for example in the form of oblong slots or circular holes. According to another characteristic of the invention, the third panel is also provided with through perforations to form a double-sided panel.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the mineral wool is a rock wool. The invention also relates to a double-sided panel, characterized in that it consists of the assembly of two structural panels as defined above, these two structural panels being joined at their third panel. Advantageously, the third panels are merged into a median panel. The invention also relates to an enclosure absorbing acoustic waves, characterized in that it consists of a perforated front wall and a bottom wall comprising a structural panel as defined above, these two walls being arranged at a distance from each other. one of the other, the third panel being placed on the outside.
According to a particular characteristic of the enclosure, the front wall consists of two elementary panels based on wood, one frontal and the other rear, between which an acoustic veil is interposed, the front wall being subjected to the action of acoustic waves. According to another particular characteristic of the enclosure, it is in the form of a closed box whose front wall is a door with single or double leaf.
According to another particular characteristic of the enclosure, the box is a storage cabinet. The invention also relates to a workstation consisting of a set of workstations and storage cabinets, characterized in that the workstations are separated by an absorbent structural panel as defined above and one or more cabinets of storage as previously defined. A first advantage of the panel according to the invention lies in its small thickness, a simple and automatable manufacture and allowing the passage of acoustic waves through its thickness. Another advantage of the panel according to the invention lies in the fact that the panel can be cut to be adapted to the dimensions desired by the user. Yet another advantage of the panel according to the invention lies in the fact that the panel can be easily associated with another wall to form an enclosure in which a trap is made for the acoustic waves. Yet another advantage of the present invention is the manufacture of partitions, furniture or cabinets having an acoustic absorbing function. Yet another advantage of the invention lies in the realization of workstations combining absorbent panels in the form of partition walls with storage cabinets, thereby maximizing the use of premises. Yet another advantage is that the panel according to the invention can be placed on the floor or hung on a wall by a suitable attachment. Other features, details and advantages of the invention will emerge more clearly from the following description given by way of indication in connection with drawings in which: FIG. 1 shows a cross-section of the panel according to the invention according to a first embodiment, - Figure 2 is a section of the panel according to the invention according to another embodiment, - Figure 3 is a section of an elementary panel, - Figure 4 is a sectional view of a enclosure made with the panels according to the invention, - Figures 5 and 6 illustrate front views of the rear and front sides of the enclosure, and - Figure 7 illustrates the realization of a workstation using the panels and enclosures according to the invention. As indicated above, it is sought to absorb the acoustic waves emitted in a room. This is the case for example in offices or premises in which several people occupy their workstation. The exchanges with the interlocutors and the conversations are source of noises which constitute an important nuisance for the immediate neighbors. This discomfort constitutes a loss of concentration among the staff of these workstations and is a source of potential conflicts. That is why it is important to reduce as much as possible these acoustic emissions polluting the environment. The invention provides an original solution to this problem by providing for the use of a structural panel absorbing acoustic waves between two adjacent workstations, an enclosure such as a cabinet absorbing acoustic waves and a combination of two remote work stations. one of the other implementing the panel and the cabinet. In Figure 1, there is shown in section a structural panel 1 consisting of a first panel 2, a second panel 3 and a third panel 4. This assembly is a sandwich structure. These three elements are joined together by any suitable means for example glue. The first panel 2 is termed frontal because it is the one that receives the acoustic waves. It is made mainly of wood material. This panel 2 is provided with through perforations 6 of any shape and size. In other words, the acoustic waves hit the front face of the panel 2, pass through the perforations and come to amortize in the second panel 3. Of course, the dimensions of perforations condition the level of absorption. The larger the area occupied by the holes, the better the absorption. Depending on the needs, the skilled person will adopt the quantity and size of the perforations. The second panel 3 is a layer of mineral wool, for example a rock wool. This material is available on the market in several thicknesses and the skilled person will use a more or less thick panel depending on the degree of absorption of the acoustic waves that he intends to obtain. In an office environment, a thickness of about 30 mm is suitable. These three panels 2, 3 and 4 are of course assembled using conventional techniques to form the structural panel. The adhesives usually used in carpentry are perfectly suitable. The structural panel thus obtained is for example placed vertically on a base 5 to ensure its stability and absorb acoustic waves and phonically isolate two spaces. It can also be fixed to a wall at a certain distance from the ground in order to absorb acoustic waves in this case. It can be manufactured in different sizes and cut in length and width in order to adapt it to the needs of the users. Panels 2 and 4 are made primarily from wood-based material, either solid wood or particle board. The material known as the medium designation is ideally suited for this manufacture. Of course, the skilled person can determine the quality, the thickness of the elementary panels 2 and 3 to be used depending on the intended application. By way of example, elementary panels having a thickness of 5 to 12 mm and in particular a thickness of 8 mm can be used. Figure 2 illustrates a cross section of another embodiment of the structural panel according to the invention. This panel 7 is generally composed of a double panel 1. To this end, we find from right to left in the plane of the figure the panel 1 bearing the references 2a, 3a and 8 which respectively correspond to the panels 2, 3 and 4. In this embodiment, it is applied against the bare wall of panel 8 another second panel 3b on which is applied another first panel 2b. This panel 7 is made of five plates joined together by any means for example glue. The assembly 7 thus obtained is fixed on a base 5 to ensure its vertical stability.
A structural panel 7 according to Figure 2 is particularly suitable for the realization of separation of two people whose workstations would be arranged vis-à-vis. With this type of structural panel, a high degree of insulation is achieved between the two stations, thus allowing a normal conversation without disturbing the occupants. Acoustic waves arriving on either side of this panel 7 are dissipated in layers 3a and 3b. In Figure 3, there is shown a section of the panel 2 showing the particular structure defined according to the invention. It comprises two elementary panels 9 and 10 between an acoustic veil 11 is interposed. Each of the elementary panels 9 and 10 is provided with perforations 6 and is arranged during assembly with the web 11 so that the perforations of each of the elementary panels are arranged vis-à-vis. The acoustic veil 11 is a commercial material whose function is to partially trap the acoustic waves in order to dissipate them in the panel 3 and thus to attenuate them. Of course the veil 11 has no perforation. For example, the web 4 may be a felt based on long or short fibers, natural or mineral. It is possible to use a commercial material having a thickness of the order of 1 mm, constituted for example by a woven fabric or not. The glue of the assembly used is a commercial glue used in industrial carpentry as a vinyl glue or other. When an acoustic wave strikes the panel 2, it passes through the perforations 6 and dissipates in the panel 3. Thus, the panel 2 according to the invention can have a total thickness of the order of 11 to 40 mm , without these values being a limitation of the scope of the invention. In Figure 4, there is shown an enclosure 12 in a section through its front and rear walls made with the panels according to the invention. This enclosure is in the form of a closed box or a usable cabinet such as a cabinet. The front face is constituted by the panel 2 described in relation with FIG. 3 and the rear wall is constituted by the panel 1 or 7 described in relation with FIGS. 1 and 2, respectively. The enclosure is delimited completely by a base 16 and an upper wall 15, the side walls not being visible in this drawing. This enclosure is closed or open type and may include shelves 17 and 18 to form a storage cabinet usable for example in an office environment. Thus, the completed speaker allows absorption of acoustic waves striking its front and rear walls. It can be seen that the invention makes it possible to optimize an office space by proposing the manufacture of a cabinet with the panels according to the invention by advantageously replacing the existing conventional cabinets.
In Figure 5, there is shown a front view of the front wall 13 of a cabinet which has two doors 13a and 13b hinged relative to the lateral uprights (not shown). These doors are constituted by the sandwich panel 2 according to the invention. It can be seen that the wall 13 constituting these doors has perforations 15 in the form of oblong slots regularly distributed over the entire surface, in order to give it an aesthetic appearance. Of course, these perforations are made only in the thickness of the elementary panels 9 and 10 to allow the passage of acoustic waves that will be partially trapped in the web 11. The oblong slots may be replaced by any type of perforations for example cylindrical holes.
8 shows a front view of the bottom wall 14 which is constituted as previously explained by the structural panel 1 or 7. This figure shows the realization of the perforations 16 in the form of oblong slots to give it an aesthetic aspect. In Figure 7, there is shown a schematic view showing the realization of workstations from the panels and the cabinet according to the invention. Two work stations 20 and 21 are separated by cabinets 22. The station 20 is composed for example of four work stations 23 themselves separated by the structural panels 1 or 7 according to the invention. It is the same workstation 21. The panel 1, 7 of each station isolates the work stations from each other. The two workstations are separated by the cabinets 22a, 22b and 22c made according to Figure 4. For example, the workstation 20 has the cabinet 22b while the workstation 21 has the cabinets 22a and 22c. These cabinets isolate workstations both by their door and their bottom as has been explained previously. Of course, any other combination of workstations and cabinet is possible.
