Dans l'art antérieur, il existe des machines de fauchage/débroussaillage/élagage à bras articulé comportant : - un bâti destiné à être attelé à un véhicule de traction tel qu'un tracteur, un bloc pivotant monté en rotation sur le bâti autour d'un premier axe de rotation sensiblement vertical, - une flèche articulée, grâce à au moins un premier vérin, sur le bloc pivotant autour d'un deuxième axe de rotation sensiblement perpendiculaire au premier axe de rotation du bloc pivotant, - un balancier articulé à une de ses extrémités, grâce à au moins un second vérin, sur la flèche autour d'un troisième axe de rotation parallèle au deuxième axe de rotation, le balancier et la flèche formant le bras articulé, et une tête d'inclinaison montée à l'autre extrémité du balancier et supportant un organe de fauchage/débroussaillage/élagage.
