Abstract

Description Technical Field of the Invention

The invention relates to a box for packaging fasteners for roofing parts of a roof. It also relates to a method for maintaining this box on joists and / or stairs.

The invention relates to the technical field of packaging for bulk storage of elements for fixing roofing parts of a roof. The invention relates more particularly, but not exclusively, to the technical field of boxes for packaging slate fixing hooks.

In the present invention, and for the sake of clarity, reference is made only to slate fixing hooks. The invention must however be understood as being applicable to the packaging of nails, screws, or any other elements used for fastening roofing parts other than slates (tiles, slate, metal panels, etc.). ).

State of the art

Currently, the containers of slate fixing hooks are either natural wood or reconstituted wood (plywood). These containers are in the form of a cubic box consisting of six panels nailed between them. More generally, the boxes of the prior art comprise: a bottom panel;

a cover panel disposed parallel to the bottom panel, two parallel longitudinal panels, arranged along the longitudinal edges of the bottom panel and the cover, perpendicular thereto, - two parallel transverse panels, arranged along the transverse edges of the panel bottom and lid, perpendicular to these.

Installers are now required to unclip the lid, which usually leads to the destruction of the latter. The installer is therefore unable to close the box when it is not used completely. In addition, the bottom panel and the cover are generally identical so that it is impossible to know which side to open the box. And if the installer does not open the box properly, the clearance of hooks stored loose inside is very difficult.

In addition, to the knowledge of the applicant, there is no integrated system for keeping the box on the roof. There is therefore great risk of falling from this box, which can lead to serious accidents and the destruction of fasteners. In fact, slate roofs are generally very sloped and there are two ways of laying slates: - either on horizontal wooden rafters fixed on the beams of the roof and called joists, - or on boards of wood also fixed on the beams of the roof and called stairs.

In the case of joists, the box can fall through the frame. To avoid this, the installers usually pass two nails through the bottom panel so that said nails protrude from the box. The installers then position this box between two joists in such a way that

the part of the nails protruding from the bottom panel bears against one of the joists to prevent the box from slipping.

In the case of the fixing on the leaves, the box can slide on the boards. To avoid this, installers must nail the box to the frame by passing a point through the hooks.

Faced with the disadvantages of the prior art, the main technical problem that the invention aims to solve is to allow easy opening and closing of the box without destroying the lid. Another object of the invention is to simplify the work of the installers, allowing them to easily maintain the box on the frame. The invention also aims to provide a box of simple design and easy to use.

Disclosure of the invention.

The solution proposed by the invention is a box of the type known from the prior art, but in which the cover is mounted to move in translation in longitudinal guide elements arranged on the longitudinal panels, said cover being able to be disengaged in all of said elements. guide, members for holding said cover being disposed on at least one of said longitudinal panels and / or transverse.

These features make it easy to manipulate the lid to open and close the box at will. In addition, the cover can be stored easily and quickly against the box as the installers need to use the fasteners.

According to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, the members for holding the lid are configured so that said lid

protrudes from the bottom panel. In this way, the portion of the cover protruding from the bottom panel can bear against one of the joists to prevent the box from slipping.

According to yet another advantageous feature of the invention, projecting elements are fixed on the outer face of the bottom panel. In this way, it is possible to position the box on the leaves so that the projecting elements grip the said flights and prevent the box from sliding.

The box object of the invention is used for the packaging of the fastening elements of roofing parts of a roof. These fasteners are positioned loose in the box.

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 4, this box essentially has a hollow parallelepipedal shape and comprises: - a bottom panel 1, - a cover panel 2 arranged parallel to the bottom panel 1, two longitudinal panels 3a, 3b, parallel, arranged along the longitudinal edges of the bottom panel 1 and the cover 2, perpendicular thereto, - two transverse panels 4a, 4b, parallel, arranged along the transverse edges of the bottom panel 1 and the lid 2, perpendicular to these last.

The various elements of the box are preferably made of natural wood or reconstituted wood type plywood. However, other materials such as plastic or metal may be employed. The bottom panel 1, the longitudinal panels 3a, 3b and the transverse panels 4a, 4b, are fixed together by gluing, nailing, stapling or in any other equivalent manner suitable to those skilled in the art.

The guide elements 5 are designed so that the cover 2 can be disengaged in all of said guide elements. The installer can thus have access to all the fasteners contained in the box. In practice, the grooves are open at least on one side of the box and no locking device in translation of the cover 2 is provided in said grooves (Figure 1).

Referring to Figures 2 and 4, members 6 for holding the cover 2 are arranged on at least one of the longitudinal panels 3a, 3b and / or transverse 4a, 4b. In the embodiment shown in the accompanying figures, the members 6 for holding the cover 2 are arranged only at a transverse panel 4b. However, it could have been provided to arrange these bodies 6 on the other transverse panel 4a, or on the longitudinal panels 3a and / or 3b.

According to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, the members 6 for holding the cover 2 are configured so that said cover protrudes from the bottom panel 1. As described below, this feature makes it easy to hold the box the invention on joists.

Referring to Figure 3, when the holding members 6 are formed by means of transverse guide members disposed on the transverse panel 4b, the cover 2 advantageously comprises a stop member 7 positioned to be able to support against the edge of said panel when said cover is positioned in said guide members. In this way, the cover 2 is locked in position in the guide elements and no longer runs out and be lost. In practice, the stop element 7 is a wooden cleat fixed by nailing, gluing or stapling on the outer face of the cover 2. The pulling of the cover 2 out of the longitudinal grooves 5 is thus facilitated by the cleat 7 which also serves of handle.30

In summary, unlike the boxes of the prior art, the box object of the invention can be opened easily and without any degradation. Indeed, referring to the embodiment shown in the accompanying figures, it is sufficient for the installer to slide the cover 2 in the longitudinal grooves 5 (Figure 1). After opening, the cover 2 is slid into the transverse grooves 6 (Figure 2). The cleat 7 prevents the cover 2 from slipping, the latter stopping when said cleat comes into contact with the edge of the side panel 4b (Figure 5). To close the box, it is sufficient that the installer puts the cover 2 in the longitudinal grooves 5 (Figure 1).

The invention will now be described according to the type of installation of the fasteners. Figure 5 shows the maintenance of the box object of the invention on joists 8, the latter being fixed on the beams 9. To do this, the installer releases the cover 2 of the longitudinal guide members 5. It then positions the cover 2 in the organs 6 to maintain said cover so that it protrudes from the bottom panel 1. It then suffices to position the box between two joists 8 so that the portion of the cover 2 protruding from the bottom panel 4b bears against one of said joists and prevents the box from slipping.

Referring to Figures 1, 2 and particularly 3, in the case where the box is to be held in position on the stays, said box will preferably comprise projecting elements 11 fixed on the outer face of the bottom panel 1. The number of The projecting elements 11 used will depend on the type of embodiment and will be adapted by the skilled person depending on the situation (slope of the roof, type of design of the projecting elements, ...). In practice, four nails are used at each corner of the ceiling panel 1, said nails protruding by about 6 mm from the outer face of said panel. Shims 10 are advantageously fixed removably on the projecting elements 11 so as to limit the risk of accidents. As shown in the accompanying figures, it is preferred to nail two shims 10 on the

bottom panel 1. It is sufficient for the installer to remove these wedges 10 to reveal the nails 11 used to fix said wedges. The installation of the box object of the invention on the flights is then very simple. Indeed, it is sufficient that the installer releases the cover 2 of the longitudinal guide members 5, and then it positions said cover in the holding members 6. The installer can then position the box on the stairs so that the elements projecting 11 grip the said flights and prevent said box from sliding.
