Abstract
Description
-1- FAUTEUIL PESEUR MEDICAL DESCRIPTION DOMAINE DE L'INVENTION La présente-1- MEDICAL WEAR ARMCHAIR DESCRIPTION FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to a medical weighing chair intended to be moved by the nursing staff. BACKGROUND ART Known armchairs of the kind in question generally comprise: a lower tubular structure provided with 4 wheels, 2 handling handles and a weighing indicator; - An upper tubular structure provided with a seat, 2 retractable armrests which pivot, each in a vertical plane located on each lateral side of said seat and 2 also retractable footrest located at the ends of 2 tubular elements; a central support point sensor connecting said two tubular structures. Such chairs have the disadvantages of: a) security because the subject can tilt forward for two reasons: - the first because there is no way to hold his bust forward, - the second because there is no way to hold his legs back when moving the chair b) the flexibility of handling because only two out of four wheels are mufti-directional Another point related to safety relates to footrests which are generally of small dimensions and therefore lack stability and adhesion SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The object of the invention is to implement a medical chair comprising improvements which are intended to suppress the To this end, the subject of the invention is an armchair which is essentially characterized in that: each armrest comprises, at its end, a retractable railing element which pivots e in a vertical plane perpendicular to the vertical plane in which pivots the corresponding armrest, so as to be positioned in said second vertical plane and the purpose of which is to oppose the tilting of the bust of the subject to the front; - It has, above the footrest, attached to the tubular elements, an anti-fall strap whose purpose is to prevent the legs from going backwards; - The four wheels are multidirectional and the two wheels at the rear are provided with locking means in order to improve the flexibility of handling of the chair. PRESENTATION OF THE FIGURES The characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear more clearly on reading the detailed description which follows of at least one preferred embodiment thereof given by way of non-limiting example and shown in the drawing. annexed (single figure) which is a perspective view of the chair according to the invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The medical weighing chair shown in the figures comprises: - a lower tubular structure (1) provided with 4 wheels (11), 2 handling handles (12) and a weighing indicator, not shown, known in itself; - an upper tubular structure (2) provided with a seat (21), 2 retractable armrests (22) which pivot, each in a vertical plane located on each lateral side of said seat and 2 footrest (23) also retractable located at the ends of 2 tubular elements (24); a sensor with central fulcrum, not shown, known per se, connecting said two tubular structures. The improvements made to said chair relate to: a retractable railing element (25), positioned at the end of each armrest (22), which pivots in a vertical plane perpendicular to the vertical plane in which pivots the armrest (22) corresponding so as to be positioned in said last vertical plane; - an anti-fall strap (26) attached to the tubular elements (24) above the footrests (23), preventing the legs from going backwards; - The four wheels (11) which are multidirectional and 2 wheels at the rear are provided with locking means; - Footrests (23) which consist of a large plate (231) provided with a hub (232) integral in rotation with an axis (233) located in a vertical plane parallel to that in which pivots each armrest (22).
Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown for which the skilled person may provide other variants, without departing from the scope of the invention which is determined by the content of the claims .
