Abstract

The support (12) for a motor vehicle engine accessory (6) such as an alternator is located on the engine's lower crankcase and forms an integral part of it, with the accessory connected to it by fixings such as screws. The engine and transmission assembly is designed for rear mounting, with the lower crankcase acting as an oil sump and closing a cylinder crankcase.

SUPPORT D'ACCESSOIRE D'UN GROUPE MOTO-PROPULSEURATTACHMENT SUPPORT OF A MOTOR-PROPELLER GROUP

L'invention concerne un support d'accessoire d'un groupe moto-propulseur de véhicule automobile comportant : - un moteur comportant un bloc-moteur, un carter de inférieur, - au moins un accessoire. Généralement, un support d'accessoire d'un groupe moto-propulseur est fixé au moins sur un carter cylindres. Dans le brevet JP09280068, un moteur est en position fortement inclinée c'est-à-dire l'axe des cylindres du moteur est incliné par rapport au plancher du véhicule automobile. Afin de pallier ces inconvénients, l'invention a pour objet 20 d'améliorer la compacité de différents éléments d'un groupe moto-propulseur pour son intégration dans un véhicule automobile. L'invention a aussi pour objet d'optimiser l'intégration d'un groupe moto-propulseur sous un plancher d'un véhicule automobile. L'invention a aussi pour objet de simplifier le montage d'un 25 groupe moto-propulseur sur un véhicule automobile. A cet effet, l'invention propose un support d'accessoire du type cité ci-dessus, caractérisé en ce que le support est porté par le carter inférieur. Selon d'autres caractéristiques de l'invention, le support fait 30 partie intégrante du carter inférieur. Selon d'autres caractéristiques de l'invention, l'accessoire est fixé au support par des moyens de fixation tels que des vis. La figure 1 représente un groupe moto-propulseur comportant un support d'alternateur selon un mode de réalisation de 15 l'invention. La figure 2 représente un support d'alternateur selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention. Dans la description qui suit, nous prendrons à titre non limitatif une orientation longitudinale, vertical et transversale indiquée 20 par le trièdre L, V, T des figures 1 à 2. Des éléments identiques ou analogues sont désignés par les mêmes chiffres de référence. Tel que représenté à la figure 1, un groupe moto-propulseur 1 d'un véhicule automobile comporte, en particulier, un moteur 4 à 25 combustion interne comportant un banc de cylindres en ligne, un circuit d'admission 3, un circuit d'échappement 5, au moins un accessoire tel qu'un alternateur 6, un compresseur de climatisation 2, une transmission 7, un carter de protection 11. Le moteur 4 comporte, en particulier, une partie fixe 30 et une partie mobile. La partie fixe comporte un carter inférieur 19, un bloc-moteur 20, une culasse 21 et un couvre culasse 22. La partie mobile comporte en particulier un vilebrequin (non représenté) auquel est reliée une poulie principale 16 d'un ensemble 14 d'accessoires. Cette -3 poulie principale 16 peut engrener au moins une poulie secondaire 17 reliée à un axe D d'un accessoire tel que l'alternateur 6 par une courroie d'accessoires 15. Tel que représentée à la figure 2, l'ensemble 14 comporte un galet tendeur 13 de façon à exercer une tension sur la courroie 15. Ce galet tendeur 13 est fixé sur le carter inférieur 19 au moyen d'un dispositif de fixation 8. Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention, le groupe moto-propulseur 3 peut être agencé sous le plancher et à io l'arrière du véhicule. La culasse 21 peut être localisée vers l'avant du véhicule et l'axe de la transmission 7 peut être localisé à l'arrière du véhicule. L'axe des cylindres et le plan défini par l'axe longitudinal L et l'axe transversal T définissent un angle qui peut être compris entre -10 et 15 +10 . Tel que représenté à la figure 1, l'angle est sensiblement égal à 0 . Tel que représenté à la figure 1, l'alternateur 6 est un volume cylindrique d'un axe D orienté selon l'axe transversal T. Il comporte en particulier une paire de brides 9, 10 de part et d'autre 20 de l'axe D. L'alternateur 6 est supporté au moins en partie par un support 12 porté par le carter inférieur 19. Le support 12 peut être fixé au carter inférieur 19 ou il peut être intégré au carter inférieur 19, tel que représenté à la figure 1. Tel que représenté à la figure 2, le support 12 est 25 dimensionné de telle façon qu'il supporte au moins une partie de l'alternateur 6. Le support 12 comporte un corps 10 qui a la forme d'une plaque incurvée dont la surface interne 23 recouvre au moins partiellement l'alternateur 6. Le support 12 comporte également une tige 16 qui est un 30 moyen de liaison entre le corps 10 et le carter de fermeture 19. L'alternateur 6 est fixé au carter inférieur 19 sur le support 12 par des moyens de fixation 24, par exemple des vis. Le support 12 est dimensionné de telle façon que -4 chaque côté transversal 18 du corps 10 soit inséré entre une paire de brides 9. Tel que représentées aux figures 1 et 2, deux vis 24 traversent des trous taraudés dans les extrémités des brides 9 et dans les côtés transversaux 18 selon l'axe transversal T. Un tel support 12 comporte plusieurs avantages. En particulier, l'empilage en hauteur (selon l'axe vertical V) est réduit. De plus, le nombre de moyens de fixation est réduit. Le support 12 et le carter inférieur 19 faisant partie d'une même pièce, le montage est io alors simplifié. Cette invention n'est pas limitée au mode de réalisation décrit et illustré qui a été donné à titre d'exemple. Le support 12 d'alternateur 6 a été donné à titre d'exemple. Le support 12 peut être utilisé pour d'autres accessoires tels qu'un 15 compresseur de climatisation, une pompe à eau. Le moteur 4 peut être alimenté thermique ou hybride. Le moteur 4 peut disposer d'un ou plusieurs cylindres. Le groupe moto-propulseur peut comporter un carter d'huile. Dans ce cas, le carter inférieur est le carter d'huile et le support 12 20 est fixé au carter d'huile ou fait partie intégrante du carter d'huile.The assembly which includes the timing (belts, pulleys) and accessories is attached to the cylinder block, the cylinder head and the cylinder head cover. According to other features of the invention, the lower housing is a crankcase for closing the crankcase. According to other features of the invention, the lower case is an oil sump. According to other features of the invention, the accessory is an alternator. Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the description of exemplary embodiments with reference to the appended figures. Fig. 1 shows a power train with an alternator support according to an embodiment of the invention. FIG. 2 represents an alternator support according to one embodiment of the invention. In the following description, we will take a non-limiting, longitudinal, vertical and transverse orientation indicated by the trihedron L, V, T of Figures 1 to 2. Identical elements or the like are designated by the same reference numerals. As shown in FIG. 1, a powertrain 1 of a motor vehicle comprises, in particular, an internal combustion engine 4 comprising an in-line cylinder bank, an intake circuit 3, a fuel circuit exhaust 5, at least one accessory such as an alternator 6, an air conditioning compressor 2, a transmission 7, a protective casing 11. The motor 4 comprises, in particular, a fixed part 30 and a movable part. The fixed part comprises a lower casing 19, an engine block 20, a yoke 21 and a cylinder head cover 22. The movable part comprises in particular a crankshaft (not shown) which is connected to a main pulley 16 of a set 14 of accessories. This main pulley 16 can mesh with at least one secondary pulley 17 connected to an axis D of an accessory such as the alternator 6 by an accessory belt 15. As represented in FIG. 2, the assembly 14 comprises a tensioning roller 13 so as to exert a tension on the belt 15. This tensioning roller 13 is fixed on the lower casing 19 by means of a fixing device 8. According to one embodiment of the invention, the motor unit Thruster 3 can be arranged under the floor and at the rear of the vehicle. The cylinder head 21 can be located towards the front of the vehicle and the axis of the transmission 7 can be located at the rear of the vehicle. The axis of the rolls and the plane defined by the longitudinal axis L and the transverse axis T define an angle which can be between -10 and 15 +10. As shown in Figure 1, the angle is substantially equal to 0. As shown in FIG. 1, the alternator 6 is a cylindrical volume of an axis D oriented along the transverse axis T. It comprises in particular a pair of flanges 9, 10 on each side of the D. The alternator 6 is supported at least in part by a support 12 carried by the lower housing 19. The support 12 can be fixed to the lower housing 19 or it can be integrated in the lower housing 19, as shown in FIG. 1. As shown in Figure 2, the support 12 is dimensioned such that it supports at least a portion of the alternator 6. The support 12 comprises a body 10 which has the shape of a curved plate with the inner surface 23 at least partially covers the alternator 6. The support 12 also comprises a rod 16 which is a connecting means between the body 10 and the closure housing 19. The alternator 6 is fixed to the lower casing 19 on the support 12 by fixing means 24, for example screws. The support 12 is dimensioned so that each transverse side 18 of the body 10 is inserted between a pair of flanges 9. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, two screws 24 pass through tapped holes in the ends of the flanges 9 and in the transverse sides 18 along the transverse axis T. Such a support 12 has several advantages. In particular, the stacking height (along the vertical axis V) is reduced. In addition, the number of fixing means is reduced. The support 12 and the lower casing 19 forming part of the same part, the assembly is then simplified. This invention is not limited to the described and illustrated embodiment which has been given by way of example. The alternator support 12 has been given by way of example. The support 12 can be used for other accessories such as an air conditioning compressor, a water pump. The engine 4 can be powered by heat or hybrid. The engine 4 may have one or more cylinders. The powertrain may include an oil pan. In this case, the lower casing is the oil sump and the support 12 is attached to the oil sump or is an integral part of the sump.
