Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a display can be used in retailers. The object of the invention is to facilitate the marketing as well as the transport of disposable type objects to be sold at these retailers. The invention relates for example to the sale of disposable lighters for which retailers must present lots of lighters, of different colors, with different decorative patterns, in view of their customers. It more generally concerns displays for all objects of similar size to these lighters. The displays used until today to allow this presentation are bulky, expensive and their replacement requires periodic delivery, for example once every two years, new displays. The shapes and sizes of these displays must also be able to vary, in particular according to the expected flow rate at the retailer. This leads to having to make several types of displays, and sell them and carry them to the retailers. This management is complicated and requires a lot of unnecessary effort.
The invention solves these problems mainly by using trays for transporting and packaging objects, lighters, as presentation tablets to be inserted into the display stands. In this case, the display shelves are directly formed by the transport trays. As will be seen later this solution allows, for the same display structure, provided to deliver trays of different sizes, to contribute to the formation of a larger or smaller display depending on the mode of delivery trays retained . In the end, the display becomes universal. It is suitable for all retailers' solutions and debits, they only have to define with their supplier the size of the trays corresponding to the expected sales volume. The invention therefore relates to a display of objects having straight feet joined by presentation tablets, characterized in that - the tablets are formed by support trays, - these trays forming the base of containers for transporting objects . The invention will be better understood with reading the description which follows in the examination of FIG. 1 which accompanies it. This FIG. 1 and this description are presented only as an indication and in no way limitative of the invention. Figure 1 shows a display 1 of objects, lighters, according to the invention. This display has straight feet, here two feet-right 2 and 3 to be joined by tablets of lighters presentation. It is also possible to consider more than two feet-right for displays very large. In the invention, the tablets are formed by trays 4 which serve as a support to support the lots of lighters such as 5. The shape of the trays is adapted to transport containers such as 6 which can transport the lighters, the manufacturer to the retailer. In practical terms, the trays 4 comprise receptacles such as 7 distributed in rows and in rows on the surface of the tray. The rows are parallel to a width 8 of the tray. The lines are parallel to a length 9 of the tray. The receptacles 7, here corresponding to lighters 5 of substantially flat shape, have an elongated profile preferably oval. The long axes of the oval receptacles may be parallel to the width 8 of the tray or the length 9 of the tray, or even on the same tray for some parallel to length 8 and for the other parallel to the length 9. The receptacles 7 are hollow. The receptacles 7 serve to hold each a lighter such as 5. For this purpose, the receptacles 7 are preferably provided with internal reliefs. The reliefs 10 are formed of an elastic material, so as to receive and maintain the lighters. For example, the entire tray is formed by a molded veil made of a plastic material, polystyrene, PVC, ABS or other. The holding of the trays 4 in the display 1 is preferably carried out by means of mortises such as 11 elongated horizontal, made in the right feet. The horizontal mortises 11 have a depth 12 preferably greater than half a width 8 of a tray 4. Preferably the depth is even greater than three quarters, or even seven-eighths of the width 8. By acting thus ensures that the tray 8 serving as a shelf is little cantilevered on the front or rear of the display, so as not to require for the materials of the tray-tray 4 too rigid materials. This ensures, even with a relatively flexible material, a horizontal support of the tablet at its end. A height 13 of a mortise 11 is in correspondence of a thickness 14 of a tray 4. In practice this correspondence is provided for the mortise makes a certain pinch of the thickness of the tray 4 so as to hold it sufficiently solidly by friction and compression. A thickness of the right feet such as 2 or 3 is less than a gap 16 between two rows of receptacles. By doing so, it is ensured that a tray 4 can enter a mortise 11 between two rows of lighters. This arrangement naturally leads, in a preferred solution, to present a row (at least one row) of cantilever lighters on the outside of a right foot such as 2 or 3. The outside of a foot -droit is the part of the tray that is not held between two feet-right. With this solution, according to the expected position 17 or 18 of the gap between the rows which must accommodate a mortise 11, it is possible through the overhang to present more or less lighters on the edges of the display. It is thus simply adjusted, by the length 9 of the trays used for delivery, the quantity of lighters presented at the rate expected from the retailer. In this case, the display remains the same. Of course the difference between the right feet 2 and 3 is a multiple of a receptacle pitch, less the thickness of a single gap. While the lighters presented cantilevered are easily visible, the lighters held between the right feet 2 and 3 could be masked. Preferably the right feet 2 and 3 are made of transparent material, transparent plastic. In order to ensure solidity of the assembly, even without the presence of the trays, it is intended to bind the right feet 2 and 3 by a spacer 19.
The spacer 19 is presented vertically on the edge between the right feet. Edges 20 of the spacer are provided with bayonets such as 21. In correspondence, the right feet are provided with high windows 22 in which the bayonets must engage. The right feet, as well as the spacer are thus formed in thin plates 15. These plates once removed can be stacked on top of each other, and easily transported from the manufacturer to the retailer. Arrived at the latter, editing is really easy. It is sufficient to engage the bayonets 21 in the windows and push the spacer 19 down to form a display structure already sufficiently rigid.
It is also noted that the introduction of the trays 4 as tablets in the mortises 11 also contributes to rigidify the whole. In practical terms, on either side of the plane formed by the spacer 19, are presented on the right feet 2 and 3 mortises such as 11 and 23. The advantage of this solution is not to cause a imbalance of the display forward if only adventurous mortises of the front face were filled, which could lead to a tilting of the display 1. Also preferably, to better organize the visualization of different batches of lighters presented in trays several mortises 11 are present in each right foot. They are arranged, vertically, staggered on either side of the plane of the spacer. Typically this quincunx implies that the mortise 23 is preferably not at the same height as the mortise 11. Preferably, the display also comprises a strip 24 made in the same way as the spacer 19, and likely to be placed between the right feet 2 and 3 at the top 25 of these right feet. This headband can serve as a banner, especially because a median plane normal to this headband rises well above, by a height 26, of the plane of the shelf-tray 4 the highest of the display. Preferably, the strip 24 is also flat to be easily transported with the rest of the display. Alternatively, the strip 24 is replaced or supplemented by a strip with two notches 28 to engage by pinching on and between the tops of the right feet 2 and 3. The strip 28 is also placed well above the mortise 11. The trays 4 have on their peripheral edges 27 reliefs for resilient installation of a lid 6 forming with the tray 4 the lighters transport container. This relief 27 may be provided with slots at the expected location of the engagement of the tray 4 in the mortises 11.
